  2. I'm liking it a whole lot better than the old 6B. I was never able to react to 6B's potential combo options (if block, do nothing / if normal hit RC then combo / if FC proceed to combo) quickly enough to capitalize on any situation on the fly. It's a lot easier to just have to adjust between (j.236Bw / j.236Bw~5B / j.236Bw~5C) based off of block/hit/FC, especially with how late the timing is on the j.236B. And accidentally autopiloting into 5B is a lot better than burning 50 heat on a RC..
  3. Should be +2 provided IB gives a 3F advantage and I'm interpreting it correctly. IB'ed (6B -> j.236Bw -> 5B) and got the following results: IB ->Tao 5B (6F) win IB ->Tao 2B (7F) trade IB ->Ragna 5B (8F) lose Also, as an aside, just Tao (6B -> guard) by itself can be hit by Noel 5A(5F) on IB but (6B -> j.236Bw -> guard) cannot. Been spending most of my time since launch practicing individual Tao links (but not combos) and all of my actual matches with other characters. Tried my Tao on netplay for the first time this week and it wasn't pretty... immediately reverted to wanting to do 5C -> 2C -> 236A -> 5D~A. Finally bit the bullet and started grinding out full combos this week =x.
  4. The announcer is so.... American. AKTION. You could tell she was trying her damndest to pronounce that "L" without it being "Noeru." Yeah, that 6k into the corner was madness, but I don't think that's even a CH combo. He does the same thing next round, sans fenrir, for the same amount of damage up to that point. It's going to take some getting used to the new 1k fenrir closer, though. I was thinking "Hm, with proration that fenrir might just do enough damage to finis...holy shit 1k damage."

Two new combos from the video: 5a, 6a, 6c, 236a, 66c, j.d, d.5d, d.5c, d.6b, d.236d (2241) 5a, 6a, 6c, 236a, 66c, j.d, d.6d, d.6b, d.5d, d.5c, d.236d (2363) Interestingly the first combo works in CS1, solid red beat and all, and does about the same damage (2254). The second combo drops around the d.5d->d.5c area because the moves are a little slower so the opponent bounces higher, but you can still blue-beat it for 2286. The more videos that come out, though, the more the selection of moves within the CR chain seem practically random at times. I guess the faster CR action means that almost anything without pushback will combo.
  6. Yeah, basically. Recorded the combos in training mode then played it back/paused to get the numbers. Both combos work in CS1, they just blue beat.

On why this combos in CS2 and not CS1 it's probably mostly down to the moves being faster within CR. Execution of combo is ~8.3s in CS2, opposed to ~8.5s in CS1.
