5 seems a little to much. It would only be on hit (Not on block) and do around 1-3 heat depending on the special move. His combos would be designed to not really contain a lot of them, then it kinda' would be fine.

My first impressions was that he reminded me of Bacon, since it looked like he only has 1 arm, but I guess not. I'm very glad about the release date at October. I made my Gifs on Photoshop Elements 7. If you don't have that then I can't help you. (Its probably the same for Photoshop CS) It also depends if your making a gif from scratch and static images or making a gif of a particular video.
