Basically a dropped project. Yasha and myself basically exchanging videos as were putting this together and boom! At least 10 days into the project A hazama tutorial comes out for EX sort of killing the mood some and eventually most of the players and some of the scenes ended up importing the game half-way through. After all of that I haven't really bothered contributing to it again. I believe this thread is already dead and upon getting deleted really soon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7guX5FtKObM I haven't been practicing as many chain cancels as I should be but it's matches like these where it would've probably counter the most. Too many stances on my half after watching the fight like 3 times, waste of heat of first fight with poor Houtenjin carries and very poor guarding on the second fight. Too much disrespect on Noel half with her 2d but maybe that's like her best option in this match-up. Enjoy the video or critique to your heart content. As mush as I wish to learn from Zakiyama style but he quit since CS I might have to work off of Kagetsu videos. Other hazama's are meh while Zeron and I both agree that everyone wants to be Buppa.

Seems like my sale didn't come through and I been ignoring this tutorial for the last two days. The break was wonderful and most of this practice has been applied to my combat (online ;_; ) too. I'll return to it tomorrow and hopefully have another video or two ready for yasha to edit. I'll view the other two videos the next moment I wake up and leave a comment, currently reading a book right now and providing an update.

Ragna Critique and Self-Improvement Thread
Reamatsu replied to Bandit Revolver's topic in Ragna the Bloodedge
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M6u2iCmKjQ&feature=channel_video_title Been a good minute since I last played Ragna since picking up another character to learn. This video is from Friday and a friendly gathering in raiza57 room. He bodied my new character one too many times I had to play with my old some but oh it pains me that I can't recall some of my next few attacks in some situations, it was too embarrassing. It clicked to me when playing Ragna today that I forgotten how to play the character effectively. Critique or watch to your heart content. -
Damn, I wish I knew of this project much sooner because now my schedule is sort of busy. Plus I made a mistake with the first video, an audio concern which I'll have to redo and give to yashu once again. CLEPS for English next monday and full military tactics all next week. Took a two day break to go up against a few friends since mashing combos sort of burned me out against the a.i. with no actual practice, I'll get back on them after work today and hopefully make it much further then before. super news- I'm selling my current TV for a larger one this weekend, hopefully I can have my next one within a month or less. Just profiting off of this one.

I'm going to apply at least one color for every combo and at least a mixed cast to keep the appeal. I didn't know the white DLC palette was so popular, I'm so used to only seeing Ragna use it the most or at least the pink one. Hazama DLC pink or at least everyone is using the DLC pink, you can't say that's not be overused. hardly anyone touches the standard 12 palettes.
-
Yeah, it slightly resembles Ragna attempt of an extra dash before the 5d (1) 214d. It's has a tricky feel with Hazama but damn does it feel good once it connects, just can't wait to learn the other variations to shorter options instead of a book of tricks, don't get me wrong. I'm a person who would rather exploit the character possibilities instead of living it out with something basic or universal.
-
At least one combo has to be Buppa palette, probably the most difficult one. As of now I'm like using DLC #5 I believe, solid white with a little bit of pink and brown hair. Surprising I'm not use Zakiyama colors which I'm personally using for myself.

Hazama and online is definitely a nasty combination, not even the 2's feel as comfortable to go up against and I rarely come across any 3's. The last 4 I found was a dick. Offline requires me to play MW3 to get along with anyone where I'm at....this sucks. I should be mashing Mu-12 on the side with the amount of time invested into Hazama. Not burn myself out on one character, hazamu pairings.
-
Does that mean you got it before we left last night? Color swap and character swap just to make it slightly more appealing, hope you don't mind getting a video per combo from the first page.
-
This helped out a great deal and when I happen to pull off the combo like a few times (10/100) my recording equipment wasn't on. It's becoming comfortable for selected characters but I'm still practicing it to increase my rate of success. To think I spent like 4 hours on one combo in the last two days, hopefully I should get this fundamental down by the end of week and eventually I can ride through Hazama extended combos. (I haven't playing much of others game or online since working on this. I actually want to see the outcome to this.)

Is Blazblue a good competitive fighting game in your opinion?
Reamatsu replied to Dragonslayer9's topic in Archive
Is blazblue a good competitive fighter? It's crack...it's fucking crack, save yourself the trouble and go do something with your life. Find the cure for aids while you're at it. -
Oh screw browsing through this thread for the answer I'm looking for, already went through two others. Get ready to hear the question you guys always here as it's almost the practical way of playing CS2 hazama instead of doing CS combos all day. I'll go ahead and provide a combo for you- 6a Houtenjin 214D~C 6c 66 5c 2c 6d 4d j7d jakou j6d~d 6c 5c 2c j5c (xn) 214b now I happened to get the first portion of this combo down against Lambda, Jin, and Bang by jumping slightly back during the j7d and jumping slightly forward into j6d, but I like to figure out is that after 5d pull connects after the j6d what input follows after for 6c to still combo? I successfully pulled it off like three times but I'm just not feeling the timing with this one. Is there an advance input or something I'm not doing right? This would definitely help me out with the tutorial, two hours sitting down mashing the same combo and getting nowhere with it.

normals and specials are done, so who has a skype/yahoo/msn account that wants to watch the video? Minor errors here and there and I don't mind receiving a word or two on how to make it better, the opponent attacks you or color palette swap? I think I'll work on completing 1 and 2 today and we'll see about the others, character so fun I might want to do it all but not too sure if I can do it all in one day.
-
I can record but I don't know jack about editing, so if anyone doesn't mind receiving at least 5 videos (each being 20 minutes) and taking the proper combos from them, I'm game. I'm just doing the combos on the first page, numbers 1-6 correct? This well help out with my combo performance and allow me to do things I never thought of applying to actual combat, one troublesome thing might just be the after J7d into 623D-those are going to be a bitch. I have an HD-PVR and you can check out the video quality on youtube, account is Sadeyo1. Quality is low on my uploads but I don't mind bumping it up a few levels for this project. Would be an awesome idea to get this up before Extend hits consoles.

Ragna Critique and Self-Improvement Thread
Reamatsu replied to Bandit Revolver's topic in Ragna the Bloodedge
What's up with you wearing the white? Those are my colors. D: (J/K) I can see how some bad habits may be apparant in your Ragna since you're a Hazama main but as the story goes, Ragna is a brain-dead character and shouldn't be difficult to pick-up. Give or take by watching some of our videos and ignoring some of the Combo Videos shennanigans you could possibly have a solid grasp of the character a like a week. Most of Ragna approach will come second nature because his approach is not as complex and pretty standard. I do wish some of your IB habits would've carried over unless that's something you don't do as a Hazama. -
Ragna Critique and Self-Improvement Thread

www.youtube.com/watch?v=jD--nAFsR4Q#t=03m02s I wonder if my rush down nature is going to be the death of me. Doesn't seem to be doing me wrong so far, enjoy or critique till your hearts content. A video involving GGJ is involved a video before this one, feel free to help him out if you want to. I'll provide the link if necessary. -
I had an idea he was going to jump a little bit more but go figure it would be dangerous if it happened to whiff, still somewhat safe on block to be quite honest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jD--nAFsR4Q I have another video available of Hazama in action against the Rachel mod. Surprisingly they know a few tricks but they're easily readable, to only meet the person offline like we were supposed to before I moved out. I ate a few cat chairs this fight but I think some of actions were really good. Critique if you please or just enjoy the fight. Zeron, still practicing the chain into chain play- maybe I'm doing it wrong but it takes an extra second to get the second chain to come out after the first one, still CH opportunities for the opponent, help me out with that or anyone for that matter of fact.
-
Everyone of my friends question why I don't use Hazama command grab. Its hit box is way too small, even after 6a and the recovery still leaves you at a counter hit possibility, think I may have whiffed it one too many times in the past I don't like to apply it anymore. You're right that I shouldn't do any stances when the opponent is far away, I don't think my yomi is that good with this character yet to play around with it. Chain into chain is something I'm comfortably trying to get into but it's not exactly working out like I want it to. Chain game play is going to take a minute to get used to but I'll eventually get it down. I wouldn't mind getting a few CH to FC possibilities on my opponent trying to bait things out. At first I was judging the wall bounce to time the j6d but eventually that didn't come to any avail. My buddy HK was with me for like 45 minutes as I tried to figure out the trick behind it, his hint was to hold up after hungry coils and eventually you should get the timing about right. To an extent he was right but it was only pulled off once successfully. The Mizuchi is a simple killer but I want to get down 66 6c 66 2c j5c xn 214b (there's possibly more choices to this then what I actually know). So I really hold up to figure it out but think I'll just time it out once again, practice on a larger hit box instead of ragna, noel, or jin.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIaHiy6nlbk&feature=channel_video_title More attempts of my Hazama in action, had better fights at first but many of my opponents refused the upload. I can do a few tricks and buffer in some things depending on the lag and or just the situation. I'm honestly enjoying Hazama more then any of my other playable characters but I'll get him down far better coming EX compared to what you're watching right now. Thanks for the help in advance. ps- Getting J6d to connect after j7d 623D is a bitch on most of the cast, successfully pulled it off once and it just doesn't seem to work anymore.

Sure, give him all the nerfs he needs but he just turned out to be less appealing to me. Sure, you have your few that enjoy the changes and thought it was for the better but you have your other group, figure out which side I'm on. Thanks for the welcome Lumin.

Mind if I join the party as a Mu-12 player? I turned her down back in CS due to the false impression of me thinking that her drive is unstable but I have mashed with her once in a while for the kicks. Coming CSII and my return after training I knew they would fuck up my main Ragna, I was raging on his changes before he was playable and the moment I could play the character it turned out to be a joke. Took away my freedom of combat and left me with garbage to work with. Despite his changes I did what I could to break through with him but was left salty. My Rachel was different to the point I didn't bother to learn her again, Hazama gotten more interesting but the devotion is tedious, Lambda really lost her freedom of combat in my eyes so I don't play her as much, and Tsubaki- Tsubaki drive cuts her thin in actually being a really threat (I do play the 3 but not really Tsubaki). I like to play a pressurized character that utilizes all their tools in combat and can work off of anything, plus very entertaining. Two Mu-12 combo videos later, videos, and training reawakened my interest in her once again. Outstandingly fun character if I do say so myself but the difficult part is finding out where to begin, coming CSE I like to play a whole different character not involving Ragna or just feeling brain dead. :/

Ragna Critique and Self-Improvement Thread
Reamatsu replied to Bandit Revolver's topic in Ragna the Bloodedge
Video 1 Well placed 6b and plenty of 6d pressure. Tons of resets but I didn't see the potential in the Hakumen until the final round. You both didn't IB as much as thought and he can't yomi to Hakumen greatest potential. I was rooting for a 5k combo after the 6d on crouch but the DS screwed it all up (was 5c really the right choice after BE instead of going with a 5d (1) DS 3c xn). Video 2 I hate to mention this but please finish your combos, maybe like twice I noticed attempts at resets but they got stuffed. Round 1 was victory stolen under your nose, 3:50 is a very unsafe approach but some people manage to wing it, probably should've dashed cancel after the first hit. Lol, that ending deserves props. Applying something that may have not worked but damn was it good when it hit, tetsu right there. Shinsyn is an awesome Jin, he was just calling some very bad shots and I punished him for them. I have earlier fights through my channel with the person of us going back and forth. ps- sorry for not being as specific like I used too with prior videos but extend is like around the corner (hopefully with the completion to shortly follow after). I just don't have it in me to give much of a damn about this Ragna.
