I know I need to work on my Chie, sometimes I either drop combos or just derp up. This is my second time playing on PSN so getting used netplay. This is my first time online against a labrys (I've played tectaleastside's Labrys on xbox with liz when I used to main here). Looking to improve so any criticism is much appreciated.

Awesome Im got some good MU exp on ps3 after you left. Mostly Yu but alittle bit of Mitsuru some labrys. My 2B gets PWND by s/labrys JB I always attempted it and got countered... Im gonna experiment it and look at the frame data. Looking forward to learning that MU better.

Its cool. Are you going to the P4A/BB tourney at Next level? 3/30. Im going, maybe we can have local casuals. I doubt I'll get far in the tourney but I wanna go for the experience. And maybe make some friends while Im at it

Your welcome! Getting it down on netplay is the hard part. Well on xbox. I did it on ps3.

No problem! They were fun to do. It was like an experiment so I learned from it. I liked the 5AB-D (FC) > 2B > 5C > Dash 5B > 5C > 2D > JD > 5AB combo 3004. Its unique and does 300 more damage than the bnb version 5AB-D > 5B > 5C > 2D > JD > 5AB 2756? something like that . The problem for me was not dropping it. 2B in the combo has to be done quick and sometimes JD didnt connect every hit. I might change my bnb to this combo if I pull it off most of the time.

I did the combos without damage calculations. Some combos didn't work so I added a move/changed it. Others work perfectly. Damage calculations and what works etc will be in bold. I was wondering what (AA) was. I assumed it was anti-air so some combos with it were done in counter hit state while jumping which only adds about 100-200 damage. All combos were done on Narukami besides the Teddie ones. Edit: Forgot damage for B.Skullcracker combo 5078

There were no other Yosuke's to try it on. Needed to know if i can do it online. Should have tried it on that Narukami player but he dps all the time. So I didnt want to take the risk, since it IS netplay and all. GGs BTW.

Yeah I learned that double uppercut (Akihiko Furious attack) is air unblockable which is very good to know. Going to study these and see what options I have against every character.

Ok Thanks going to training to practice my spacing. Where can I see the frame data for the game. I need to study that.

Thank you Im going to try these tactics out. So max range 2A beats his 5A and 2B beats JB. When I attempted a 2B, his JB kept beating it so I need to time it better. I need to face some akihikos to practice on now. Thanks for the advice Colpevole.

Thanks I need MU exp against certain characters but I think netplay will help with that. I hope I can never do JB loops so I dont try them online. And I agree about updating the combo thread. Edit: I cant do them online is what i meant. Scratch that I did it online against a Yosuke, it was awesome.

To tell you the truth I do whatever comes to mind. Im so used to using 5A and 2A in my combos (Due to my pressure 5A and 2As). Ill try to come up with another combo using 5AA, not sure if I can combo 5AA twice in a combo... Sorry if I sound like a noob. I been playing Chie for 2 weeks...

I did that loop. I found it easier to connect once you if you do a 5AA It needs a small delay after 2B, you can confirm it from anything. Im poor Anyway these are 3 of my Chie JB combos. I dont use JC cause I feel comfortable without it, although I can add it if I must. The first is 5AA 2B JBB JA Dash 5A 2A 5B 2B 2AB 5DD (corner carry 1911 dmg oki) , Second is 5C CH micro dash 5A 5B 2B JBB JA dash 5A 2A 5B 2B 2AB 5DD (corner carry 2521 dmg oki). Last is a unique way to use the the JBB in a combo against crouching opponents Its JBB dash 5B 5C 236B dash 5A 5B 2B JBB JA dash 5A 5B 2AB 5DD ( 2959 dmg oki). This works since 236B (B rampage) forces standing These combos only work on Yosuke and Narukami.

Im switching to local, so lag really hurts XD. If it werent laggy; next time I would like to face Yukiko. I dont face much Yukikos so I can use the MU experience. I used to main Liz but since I played P4G I switched to Chie since she and kanji are my favorite characters.

I've been using Chie for a week and a half and I found out a character specific combo that works on Narukami, aigis, kanji (Uses OMB and 50 heat). Not sure if its been posted, its pretty meh compared to the combos posted here. Works midscreen, 5B > 2B > 2AB > Jc > Jc > J236D > OMB 5C > 236B > 236B > 214C > 236236D For 5271 damage. Edit:Forgot J @ 236D

I'm guessing people only come to play anime on tourney days? I came yesterday and I was the only one on P4U. Everyone was on Streetfighter and Marvel. I wasn't alone tho, there was a KoF player by himself as well. I did leave early since was I was bored playing training for 4 hours(3pm-7pm) . Is there a specific time people come to play? I was told by a regular that people come to play persona on Wednesday? I'm confused on when I should come over Ill come on the tourney day (3/30)? I guess if that when i can have some matches. If anybody is planning on going anytime soon, (hopefully a group of us) please invite me. Im desperate for some offline matches lol.
