  1. You actually think I was talking about the hs > j.2k part? Start means start dude.... 2hs > hs is just not on without the CH (he didn't mention it in his combo either). I tried to keep the combo similar to what he had so he could be able to pull it off easily. And please actually read my post before you decide whats right/wrong about it. I could have posted something like this but its completely different to what he's doing. 2h (CH) > 5hs > j.2k > j.k > land > 5hs > IAD > j.k > j.k > land > 5hs > j.s (3) > j.k > jc > j.d
  2. Firstly, change the start of the combo, you'll never see that in a real match. Just add in a BBU after the 2hs and your set. I see the problem is that your just doing the wrong combo, thats all... Too much moves and not enough height no matter how good you time them. Change what your doing now to this if you want to keep your combo similar to what you had. Launcher > hs > jc > j.k > j.2k > j.k > jc > j.k > j.d > j.2k > j.k > land and relaunch with 5hs/c.s/5p (it wont work on everyone) Also, one more thing. Who suggested the combo to you? If I were you I'd stick to the combo list Zaido has posted. Its most likely all you will need and all the char specific work has been done for you.

    Slayer AC Combos

IAD > j.p > j.k > land > hs could be less strict than the x2 j.k version. Another thing is that starter is a hard hit-confirm. So if the hs hit when they were grounded or if they blocked you'd be better off coming in with j.p j.k.

    I-no vs Jam

Oh I never posted the secret which kept me alive for awhile against jam. 6p out ranges 2s and is not a such terrible trade if it does happen, nicely beats out FB balls too. Dont bother doing notes, she has almost no problem getting past them and probably will punish you for trying. Predictable oki gets parried then 5p'd, so do more lows. 2k gets reversal dp'd/super so you might as well go all the way and use 2s into big damages.
  5. 6p doesn't prorate when you use it on OS? lol good strat and it seems to works for jam too.
  6. Baiken: Blockstring into the chain can BBU'd before the chain hits.

    Koichi at his best

You've gotta be kidding me. The man is a machine programmed to eliminate the human race
  8. You've seen my vids and seen for yourself how much I gold burst... lol. You need to up your % rate of successful combos during match play. You should aim to play about 10-20 hours worth of casuals an then see how much your input improves. I have better input during real matches than practice mode weirdly now (not in the existing vids though). Finkledoodoo: Raped? All the time? Even during casuals? Why'd you bring cpu beating habits into game play? This should be more than enough reason to stick to practice mode only. Try baiting 6ps with hoverdashes into jumps and delayed dives, though if your not as good as your opponent I doubt this will work long for you. Personally I spam IAD backwards j.hs then proceed to start spamming notes... just to get them to come in on me and thats when I usually see my opponent make a mistake. It doesn't work on everybody and against a few you have better options.
  9. I prefer decent damage and to go for the tech trap. Except they don't tech anymore Gotta learn them black beat combos... lol 5k 6p stbt x 2 And Finkledoodoo, i'd still love to see vids so I can know what people are picking you apart for doing so I don't do it myself. By 'that' kind of pressure do you mean Eddie? 2s > hs > IAD > j.k is your best friend, learn it and love it! 100%-125% combos are useless, why bother? If you got that much tension they should be dead already or you've missed many HCL frcs and would probably screw up the 100% tension combo anyways.

    Bridget Basics

Ah poor Jais. You know the sad part too? Everybody in accent core has damage, except Bridget. I've switched to I-no and shes infinitely better. She also nets far more wins and looks cooler overall. I've never been used to actually dealing 70% life before in a single combo. Another cool thing is that playing Bridget taught me to air throw frequently because his air normals and AA sucks.... funny thing is that people didn't notice the huge amounts of air throws at all until they start losing 25% life because of them, thanks ino Though all of this seriously reinforces my idea that Bridget deserves his own crap tier. The only remaining thing he is good for is counter picking pot/dizzy/sol users, no offense I seriously don't feel you can net wins consistently in a tournament setting. Kinda sad i've switched for that very reason too, since Bridget is an awesome character. S'ok cause i'll still be repping him by raping the random scrubs that unfortunately happen to challenge me on the #R machine. Doesn't matter in the end cause I wasn't that good anyways.
  11. 2s > 5h > IAD j.k > j.s > j.hs > whatever you want, go absolutely nuts. LEARN THIS!
  12. I'm addicted to gold bursting with I-no (except against eddie)... is anybody with me? She just loves tension. Finkledoodoo: Even decent I-no players rely entirely on the ability to be able to HCL 6frc6.

    I-no vs Jam

parry > 5p is REALLY lame. 2s crushes you, aa's you for CH too sometimes lol. (6p seems to beat it out at further ranges). STBT gets you CH 2s'd into death.
  14. And playing with a stick for 6-9 hours doesn't make you fatigued at all, obviously . Anyways, this is topic is derailing so let me just say that I have a great respect for the existing I-no players in America because you all perform great in comparison to other gg players.
  15. Defensive I-no... whut? Match vids of you proving this style wins matches would be appreciated. Hurt your fingers? You seriously need to play more! And sticks hurt my wrists even though I rest them, but if I was better at playing a stick then I wouldn't give a damn, that's right! BuckleMyShoe: Are those repeated Negative Edge CL FRCs without macros? whoa... dude, if they seriously force you over there in America that must suck! I'd like to know how many times good stick players actually mess up pressing 3 buttons at the same time Was it really Koichi being better in the Slash era or just him being awesome as usual and the tiers giving him a little more omph?
  16. *does not believe. Instead of comparing pad players to Koichi why not compare them to other stick I-no players in America? Or is there just not much difference (if any) at all to make a valid point? Try playing on a stick for at least a year (In fact I started playing Guilty Gear on a stick, surprise!). I'm not saying pad is superior, I'm just stating that they have everything they need to win and there is absolutely no requirement to change to stick unless a vast amount of inputs become easier with some practice.
  17. The things I've mentioned are the things that are clearly apparent when I use a stick. You don't have to like it. Its just that I suck real bad on it.
  18. I tried so god damn hard to play on a stick but the cons for me (slower 360 speed, can't airthrow properly, cant block well) just outweigh the pros (the buttons if I ever wanted to play Eddie, clean SJC inputs, easier frcs). And before you all say practice makes perfect... I've played on a stick for long enough to be good at it and it just doesn't work for me! This still does not restrict me from playing #R at the arcade though Go stick Eddie power! Using a raised D-pad to play I-no currently, much fun.
  19. Respect dizzies f.s, it will crush dash in moves. Her 2s AA's you and beats STBT during redashing, awesome isnt it? Her j.2s is throw invul If she ever leaves the ground during oki (when your not in blockstun) STBT out. Dry summons can be HCL'd
  20. His 6p didn't feel strong at all to me when I was playing. Framedata says it has above knees invul from frame 1-4 and 5-11 is just upper body. Carcass raid leaves him at +8 *so don't fidget TK mad struggle leaves him at +7 *same here TK FB leaves him at +19 *this is what venom is all about If they do dark angels as oki when your close you can super through it. His lockdown is tight, stay cool... its not Eddie.

    I-no vs ABA

how do you deal with danzai?
  22. BuckleMyShoe: Your the second analog user I know... I kinda wish I learned how to do that, it would sure freak my crew out if I was switching from D-pad to analog mid game. And I see we have someone new thats real serious in town! Would love to see some match vids.
  23. This might be 4.5/5.5 according to bleed but I feel it is even. Matches of reputable I-no's losing would help to see what exactly they might have done wrong/right and what they couldn't avoid. From a personal view I really freaken hate trading with Johnny's aerials, they hurt so bad and I keep coming back for more! I've lost rounds to repeated bad trades, unfun.

    I-no vs Axl

Except Axel uses a bunch of frame traps that supers will beat, am I right? And you have to be frame perfect to just be safe from I-no's reversal supers I-no users Jumping up there with the intention of FD'ing Axel's pokes will NOT help you win... he doesn't lose absolutely anything for this, its perfectly safe for him. He could also make you lose more depending on your location. You have to keep making situations where if Axel guesses wrong you get in on him. Nothing wrong with backstepping (if your too close don't bother, attack/play reactively or you'll get snagged by moves into combos) to get to a safer note range if you see Axel sitting there waiting for you to hand him the match by hoverdashing/STBT. Don't be to fidgety when blocking Axel's oki. Look for 6h, crossup move, long ranged throw, 2h > D, tick throws when blocking his oki.

    I-no vs Axl

If I show you countless amounts of dropped combos in the corner will you believe me? I swear I was dropping them so much in the latest casuals I opted a few times to AD.h > land > 5p and throw the tech. Totally budgeting for my uncool mistakes! and dude.... UF shouldn't be part of a BnB combo unless it is absolutely needed. I see it as an expensive version of I-nos FB to tack on the damage when you cant be bothered thinking/inputting (when its used in combos). I'm totally seeing other 'respectable' I-no players all over here dropping combos, not just a few combos either. Anyways, this Axel mid screen combo might get you to the corner that you need so desperately. It also doubles as the combo to go to when you need that tiny bit of tension to put you over. 5k/5s > 6p > hs > j.s > j.hs > HCL FRC AD > j.hs > S dive > combo of your choice. Corner throw combo (easier version for those who cant SJC flawlessly and never get accidental dives) 5s > jc > j.s > j.hs > p dive > AD > j.s > VCL fast fall > land > 5s > VCL > 5s > VCL. KDs and towards the end of this combo it becomes dangerous tech throw bait, 5s jc > deja vu.
