Seriously a difficult match. How do you break out of his ghost pressure? 2s doesn't cut it, and I don't usually have enough tension to 5h FRC.

I'd actually like to see the "Matchups" chart. I used to have it, but it disappeared, and I can't find it.

I have to ask why Zappa is B in this game. Seriously, his game sped up so far, and I can't really think of how he's bad. He has everything he needed to be S tier in this game, but Eddie and Testament got all the buffs too. I know he's worlds better than #R (unsure about Slash) but I just don't see his negatives.

Robo owns the air, but you control the ground. Drill Cancel j.H, and keep him out of the air. Don't throw bags, cause he'll use his knee rocket and knock you out of the air. the zone control usually goes something like: Him=x, you=o xxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx xxxxoooooo xxoooooooo xooooooooo That means, get out the meteors and you stomp his air, but if you drop a chocolate, nothing for you.

My experience is against Axl, Venom, May, Zappa, and I play as Robo against a Faust, so I know a couple things if you need help.

The reason I ask is because since I'm stuck on pad currently, Robo's 5H FRC is way too quick, but if I FD cancel something, I can just hold them down and release them all for the FRC. As for the 2 releases and one positive, It's just curiosity.

I tried it today, all I hit one guy with it, and the other one turned into a pretty big combo by Slayer.

I've never tested this, and I've never really had to worry about it, but can you Roman Cancel with a negative input? Currently, I'm stuck to Pad, as my stick is still in pieces. On top of that, if it is possible, would 2 releases and one positive work?

His respect is the pointing, isn't it? If they're blocking, they'll block low if they're Faust or Zappa, since they'll duck under what looks to be a 5p. I've always only found respecting with Anji, because it looks astonishingly similar to his 3p. The respect is nice for mixups, but it doesn't work because of how close it is to his 5p, which can be blocked either way, and even ducked by lower characters, who'll try to attack you out of it, especially in the case of Zappa, it's not a good idea, because he'll more than likely get 3 orbs out of it.

One of them is GGX Potemkin's Giganter.

From what I've seen, he blows up under pressure, so it makes it hard to play with any defense.

Well, I've played #R and it was strong, but wasn't he "unplayable" in Slash?

I was looking at Robo's frame data, is the j.D right? 10x12 damage? Seriously?

The only one I can think of that you really change all that much is Potemkin with the 2k him out of everything.

On top of that, if you're pad, set the RC to L1 or R2, depending on which one you like best, just need an RC button. Otherwise you won't get the 5H FRC, it's nearly impossible. And yes, that's how you tiger knee.

Slayer is just too pimptastic.

I've been on here, and I'm gonna start maining Robo, since Faust is way too boring to play. I'd much rather take my chances of blowing up, than deal with Faust's enormous hitbox.

I think Johnny is a pretty cool guy, eh Mist Finers and doesn't afraid of anything.

Tension upkeep is far harder than playing May. Her mix-up game is ridiculous, and during combos you should just learn to hold back. It's not too hard to learn. I never understood that about his 5D. Is it really so good people can complain about it?

Don't throw out the Robo Dash too often, because a good Faust will use his 5D to knock you out of it, and his impossible dust is really easy to pull off on you.

I can never hit with the command throw on him. It's too short.

I would guess he just TKs it. that is really low.

Depending on how High I jump, he'll run up a little bit and use the 6k and the 5p Generally, it's quick enough to knock me out of the sky, and run up for some bomber combos. I'm still learning Robo, but yeah.

I actually brought up this matchup because my biggest competition is an Axl. I just can't seem to get in on him. I'll stay a full screen away and Missile him, but he usually just stuffs me. Tips?
