If they do nothing but backdash you can attempt to chase the dash after they tech with a meaty normal, which has its own benefits and risks. Just watch out for rolling, growler, fast normals (2a) or just wakeup throw. You can also try to stagger 2A on his wakeup, and try to catch him in the backdash recovery
