Thanks for the references on the shmups. I feel like they are a dying breed anymore, over here at least. Also thanks for pointing out basara X; I don't know why I've missed it for so long, it hasn't even been on the radar. Which what would you say Fate plays like, from videos it seems to be primarily juggles/long combos (I'm always concerned when it comes to 3D fighters)?
