So as i said in the Thouther thread i finally figured out how break the star limit with the command throws. It's actually simple, you get the guy dizzy, but the combo that dizzied him must took out at least one star, then do the command thow for Shin or BD for the others and now you can take out one extra star. For the max charged CD, lol it was so simple i never thought of it (plus i don't really use max charged CD in pressure strings). It's just the star taken out when the guy get smashed on the wall after a blocked max charged CD that break the limit.

Yeah he used boost just before the 2C, autoboost that is, look at this : 6 after CD is for autoboost, that's the boost you're seeing when he does 2C before IAD boost jB, also for the first 2C, it's 623A > E > 2C.

Zankai Ken can't be comboed into.

So i played some HNK on AW as planned this week end, sadly we couldn't play much on this version because the owner only went on the evening so i couldn't try it ouside of versus, anyway i couldn't get 4 stars with Shin with any combo i tried, after some matchs i gave up and worked on landing muteking instead. But later in the night when we watched the combo dvd, and i noticed a very obvious thing i don't know why i didn't before, the opponent is dizzy when Shin does 4 star FKO, and it's the same thing with Thouther's and Juda's 5 star FKO combos. And for these 2, i don't see the purpose of having them stunned before the combo, so it might have something to do with this, anyway i'll look into this next time i'll play on AW (it doesn't work on ps2).

This isn't a full charged CD, to count as a different move than normal CD, you have to see the "energy ball" that comes out only when it's fully charged (at least on ps2). I just tried, the CD in this combo isn't even charged enough to count as a different move than normal CD, and no matter how much i charge it (which isn't much if you want the combo to work), it only take 3 stars, btw did you try on ps2 or AW? Because the AW 4 star into FKO combo you can see on the dvd takes only 3 star on ps2, so there is 3 things possible, either the (even little) charged CD, command grab or the extra star due to jump install glitchbreak the limit, anyway this as been corrected on ps2 as none of them works. I'm going at a gathering tomorrow and we'll have an AW version, i'll try this out to see what breaks the limit with Shin (as now i can do the glitched 214C and 236C consistently thanks to ps2 training mode ^^).

The vid show exactly what i meant, CD and charged CD count as a different attack and both take one star, but it doesn't allow to break the 3 star limit. For the JI glitch, the move before the special must be a launcher (outside of ACs, there is only Thouther's cC that have that property), i think that by doing 2369E~C, the 9 is here to make the engine "think" you jumped, but by E~C you cancel the startup of the jump by the special move. For Thouther, as cC is special cancelable you don't need the boost to cancel the jump startup by a special, but outside of this i think it works the same way. BD grab removing the 3 star limit seems plausible, as in the dvd Juda also does a 5 star into FKO and there is no jump install star glitch in this combo.

I thought that Toki's advantage after Sekkakou was well known (at least it is in france), that's one of the reason this super is so retarded (but not the only one lol). Just try in trainning mode, make Toki do Sekkakou > fastest 2A, now try agility defense it then try a fast move like Thouther 5B, oh CH!!! but that's for Toki Another thing that make you see he has the advantage on block, do a infinite blockstun setup on backturned opponent like the one in Kubo's CM, if you do a Sekkakou in the string you can 2A him befoire he comes out of blockstun.

Speaking of a blocked sekkakou, it's listed a -11 on block in the frame data, wtf? he clearly has the advantage after this.

Full charged CD don't break the 3 star limit on ps2 (but it counts as a different attack as a normal CD), i'll check next week end on atomiswave version.

A guy i play with said that to me some time ago, unfortunatly i'm not really able to do that because as i live in a small appartment, i have no room to work on sticks (nor the tools needed by the way). To do that i go to a friend's place, so it actually takes me quite a lot of time to do one stick. For that stick, honestly the woodcraft of the case is nothing special, what make it stands out somehow when compared with my previous stick is the time i spend on the paint job (i'm not sure you can see how much it's better than my first stick on the shots). I used profesionnal paint (used for cars) and put 6 coats, after 3 backing coats (i'm no sure how this is called in english), then i varnished it till i got the closest to perfect result that i could (well i'm not a painter so it took me some time) , which ended with 8 coats. For now i started to work on my next stick, didn't make up my mind for the design yet but i've already some hot artworks for it, especially a Senna/Kunagi from Big Bang Beat :drool:

BTW my personnal favorite (aka otaku fetish lol), the katana girl looks good with this arcana, one normal into fist of justice super > homing dash > some jump normal > super again > land into 2 normals then another super, a nice easy looking combo for 60-70% damage ^^

For Rei's DP glitch, it's not banned in japanese tournaments actually from what i heard. Benj, a french HNK players living in japan said that it was about to be banned because it can make the atomiswave to crash if you get to the time up, but after all they didn't banned it because you really have to want it for crashing the board since you can cancel into infinite ground bounce for the win anyway. You can see a Rei doing it quite frequently at a-cho, it's really really broken but well, how would you banned this when you see the new Raoh's Sai loop...

I know a guy who got it in june, the game only cost him 560€ (that's around 700$). You can find a fullkit (game + atomiswave motherboard) for around 900$ on the net (and you have to add taxes depending on your country probably).
