Holy shit NEC was huge this year. It sucks the hotel was NOT ready for us to go in this hard but I still had a great time. Kirbster, we only played a bit and your stick was acting up, but I could tell you play a very patient and smart Jam. Keep it up, I want to see you get stronger and I know Montreal is a scene to thrive in! Pretty much what BoJ said. I'd probably play an expy/knock off character, but tbh it's just a matter of liking the character for the actual character and not because of necessarily their playstyle or gameplay. But that's how I pick who i play in a fighting game, so it might be different for others.

Shrug, people that know me know I'm character locked to Jam, but if she's not in Arcades my hype will be killed for watching the game too much. Even if she's not in at release I'll probably just play Sol or Millia for a while, at the very least to keep used to the game and know what I'm doing for when Jam and all the other characters are (eventually) released.

Dumb as in the input was 46 instead of 546. Jam could at any time parry out of blockstrings easily. It also led to more damage because #Reload Jam's damage output was insane. You could also occasionally mash 6 while in standing blockstun and parry any followup mid or high attack in the blockstring (easy example is in #Reload, Ky does 6H, Jam holds 4 to block, mashes 6 through the blockstun, Ky does 6K, gets parried automatically, Ky player loses 70% of his lifebar)

Jam never had a low parry lol. If she did...well she'd probably be top tier no problem lol. I'm wondering if her parry with be #Reload/Slash or AC input though. Because her old parry was really really dumb.

Give Xrd Jam a low parry lol Also wasn't Jackhound just a normal special before AC? You wouldn't really lose it I thought.

Jam's BIG threat though was her damage I thought? Nothing like losing 80% of your life cause you didn't block a 5D... But yeah if Jam is in Xrd I'm kinda worried about not giving her AC 6H, and even more worried about Choujin/236P special move. They're both really handy for her. But we'll see, first she needs to get in the game.
