"Tier whoring," I think, is actually pretty interesting. By picking the best character in every game, I think you're removing the wall that might hold you back by picking a shitty character. It's like N-O. What if he picked up Eddie (of course this might not be a good example because N-O might only be as good as he is because of venom)? What if Daigo picked up someone like chun li (not bad, but certainly not the best)? He would probably lose a lot more. By playing top tier, you really start playing the game with no excuses. If you lose you got outplayed.

H-F did win. It was funny. It is also understandable after playing him that one time. It's like he just knows everything about the game.

Marq I really don't think you are in any place to say anything about someone being free. No offense, but none of us have reason to believe in your ethos in this matter. It's also a pretty shitty thing to say that they're free because even if it was true, you're pretty much belittling the success that the people (like Ted) had there and making it seem like not a big deal. Just wanted to say good shit to everyone who went out to Revelations. It really shows a lot when you go out to another state to compete in a game you enjoy no matter what the results. That's something I personally have been too coward to do especially with how many opportunities I have had to do it.
