Eh, imo, a stick isn't worth it. Pad is perfectly fine for everything, though Valk may need a bit of button mapping (D to R1, for ex. Make his Human -> Wolf dash -> Human -> A/B/C transforms A LOT easier). I think fightpads have a bad rep for not being that good either. But if a stick works better for you than a pad, then go for it. Not sure there's a better alternative for compatibility between consoles, though. It'd be cool if MS/Sony would make a collaborative pad for both userbases, but that's never going to happen. :\
