and Lambda can airgrab Plat out of Mami Circular... Plat becomes more like May everyday. If you're wondering what I mean, May can be grabbed out of Vertical Dolphin, but the timing has to be just right.

Yeah I admit Kaqn is synonymous with hype when it comes to BB. I'm glad you caught on to what I'm saying.Some people aren't interested in the character, they just use them just because they saw a famous player use them and they wannabe like them. It's how people were in CS1 with Ragna.

Thats the thing, remember when Makoto 1st came out? She had the parry loop which made her an even more awesome character than she is now, but then as soon as they removed it, a bunch of people dropped her. Those followers are only going to play Platinum because they saw Kaqn use her, then they'll realize that she's not very beginner friendly and they're probably just going to drop her, which makes me very upset. EDIT: Maybe, I just over-thinking this. but I do hate that people don't really respect a character for their aspects but rather for their popularity.

Even the thousands of BBCS Kaqn band-wagoners? I just don't want to see another one of my favorite character's image spoiled because of 1000s of band-wagoners using a character just becuase they saw x player using them. (Seriously, people really hate CS1 Ragna) I don't have a problem with Kaqn using Platinum at all, I encourage it...I just hate how some people are going to follow suit.

and if you get a hitconfirm with Dash 5B, you can do: 1.5B>6A>5C>jc>J.C>jc>J.D>djc>J.C>j.214C>(dash)6D> J.D>jc>J.C>j.214C> Dash 5D> (623D,236C,214D or 214A + 214D) this combo takes them into the corner. The 623D finisher is for meter and heath gain, 214A + 214D is for damage and oki. 2. 5B>3C>2B>5C>j.c>J.C>J.D>djc>J.C>j.214C>Dash 3C>5D>22C. This combo has one of the reasons Ragna is so fierce in CS1, Mada Owari Janezou aka Its Not Over yet oki. From here, your opponent has to both tech and guess the next move you're going to make. Practice your spacing and you'll have this down in no time. :]

Using Barrier while dashing is a safe way to approach an opponent and Chicken Blocking. Other than that, using Dash 5B and Dash 6A (If they like airdashing towards you) is viable too.

random casuals I have a friend who just uses Dante just because he's from DMC4 and he mashes with him and I can play Zero just fine on Xbox controller, of course I just do basic shit with him but I play this game for fun. No one else wants to play BBCS with me.

Sorry to burst yor bubble,SJ. But most people who play Dante don't play him because of his combos. They either play him because it's "OMG Dante, I love him!" or "He's got guns and swords, I can mash out combos and try to look like I know what I'm doing!" but I've seen some of Dante's more advanced combos.They not only look cool as hell but like you said they do a ton of damage without x-factor. I've tried him out but playing on Xbox Controller just raises frustration. @Effenhog: If you think that team is what you like working with then try practicing against situational teams to find what your teams weaknesses are. My Zero/Tron/Spencer team seems pretty balanced, the only problem is that if lose Zero or Spencer early in the match then my whole team balance is thrown off completely.
