I myself have a Japanese PS2 to play imports, but most people probably use SwapMagic (http://www.swapmagic3.com/). It's fairly inexpensive and easy to setup from what I understand but you have to do a bit of operating on your PS2's disc tray/flop top in order to use it (site linked above has tutorials).
