To my knowledge of using Makoto. You are right that she is a rush down character. Her attacks are around average damage no matter where she's at on the screen but her corner pressure is too godlike. With any kind of level 3 with her drive they could launch the opponent stunning them for a good amount time, ground slide the opponent from both ground and aerial, spike an opponent down from the skies to a ground bounce and more choices. Wall bounce is normally after her 236a ~ 5d lvl.3 xn. She has such an amazing mix-up and cross-ups which are all meterless which truly makes her a threat. Her 5a will safely lead into some dangerous combos.
