Not particularly. BlazBlue was supposed to run at 6 in the afternoon on Saturday and got bumped up to 2PM for whatever unknown reason. MBAA was supposed to be at 10AM in the morning. LPT got there to be told MBAA wasn't scheduled to happen (on top of him bringing his own setup, same case for Mindgam3 having to bring a GG setup), so he argued with them and the tourney was then made at 10PM... 12 hours after the advertised time.
BB didn't even have a set up for casuals to happen until 5 min before the tourney began despite the room being a sea of Tekken 6 set ups
For the venue fee we had to pay, I'd expect things to be run better than they were. This was my first tournament and it was a very disjointed experience. I still had a good time and met some rad people. Looking at this as a learning experience for myself, personally and hope the next tourney I get to attend will be a little more fluid.
And lastly - I saw a post from Zoob saying he forgot to give Mindgam3 the capture card? But I believe that's being resolved.
