Remember to try to take advantage of the 5f button input buffer kof has like bb(which i guess like bb is when you hold down the button?) Also, keep in mind that trial is not particularly useful for the combo itself. You can do far lp 6lp 6lp(cant do second 6lp at max range of far lp) into light dp. However, the link is important for frame traps. Iori does a lot of stuff like Close lk(which is + as hell) link close hp into combo, and when they're scared of that and just block you do lots of command grab. And again, the trials in KOF13 aren't the best in many ways. You can do close lp close hp 6lp dp for more damage and easier hit confirm. Often, the starter combos in the trials arent the most damaging or easiest to confirm or most practical, and the later trials, while perhaps sometimes optimal in damage are never necessary to do huge damage, and the trials miss really key stuff for characters like Mai.

I dunno what to say...as, say, Terry, i find anti airing things with Far C and Far D, and his command normals to be fairly intuitive..sometimes it is reaction, sometimes it is preemptive, it just depends on things..

i didnt see what happened but if you're trying to land a few combo starters, then focus on doing things that beat whatever avoids/beats your combo starters. make them change their actions in a way that benefits you.

evo lineup is ssf4ae2012 umvc3 sc5(yay) mk9 kof13(yay) sfxt no bb is reasonable. i wanted it in obviously but it is an understandable decision sfxt is hilarious considering almost everyone hates that game and it provides logistical issues regarding gems, which mr wizard even talked about i like how he said "we dont if skullgirls will be good" as if we knew if sfxt was going to be. it shocks me that someone would have more faith in capcom to fix a game(with large logistical issues) which almost everyone hates than faith in a game which everyone who has played seems to love and is made by someone in the community who has explained their design decisions oh well. sc5 and kof13 are hype~
