The only crippling I feel is going from a running character to a dashing character. It annoys the crap out of me, particularly with Hazama for some reason. I had the same problem as you in CT, where I could only really use Arakune. I don't seem to have that problem anymore, although I'm still terrible with everyone that doesn't kick your ass with 160 hit combos.

In general, I don't think it should be possible to throw Tager (except by Tager's command grabs). Not sure how that would affect tiers though. Honestly, the tier list wouldn't look nearly as bad if those 35's were 40's. Those can easily be fixed with damage buffs/nerfs.

Mine aren't so much story theories as they are gameplay theories. -Carl leaves Kagutsuchi. Gameplay wise, Relius takes Carl's spot (as a rebalance of sorts). -The Arakune we know and love dies completely. Litchi's body eventually succumbs to the same fate of Arakune's. Linhua, stunned that this could happen to Litchi, makes it her duty to save Litchi (basically, how Litchi is now for Arakune). In this respect, Litchi replaces Arakune gameplay wise, and Linhua replaces Litchi. You know you want it.

I think you guys might be overstating Rachel's shittiness. She's no doubt bad, but I wouldn't say she's the "queen of shit". That title goes to Tsubaki. She has terrible everything and doesn't do damage worth shit. No projectiles unless you want to make yourself a sitting duck and charge for that useless piece of shit. She has maybe one or two "good" combos, but they do next to no damage. She feels like a pointless addition, honestly. I never find myself charging period when I use her because it isn't even remotely safe (except for the air depending on the circumstance) and the payoff just isn't good.

I'm not to sure what to think of Makoto. She's too in-your-face. I feel like Lamda and Tager will totally rape her in this matchup, but she could also have edges over Tsubaki and Rachel. This is just speculation though.

I got Fur and Loathing in Kagutsuchi by doing her Astral in a match. Not hard.

The second combo was the C loop from CT minus the a and b bugs. I don't know what's so hard about that. The first one was a bit harder to explain. Basically, you do the A dive, but press A B and D at the same time to generate all three bugs. Then cancel into the B dive (while also summoning the 5C bug). Then you should be able to go into the C loop, although only once. I've haven't really given the bird loop the attention I should be, but which bugs am I supposed to summon, and when?

I made some random combos during curse since I'm incapable of the bird loop and don't want to randomly mash bugs to win: Not sure how much damage those do, but they're pretty effective if you can't do the more advanced combos Arakune has.

I can't remember exactly what it was, but I would imagine two scenarios would work: A) 1.01 makes all DLC playable. Said patch will give all three characters spots on the select screen and all three will be possible opponents in ranked matches. B) Patch 1.01 for Makoto. 1.02 for Valkenhyn, and 1.03 for Platina. Each one will rebalance the cast to match the last 'new' character (1.02 fixes Mu and Makoto, 1.03 fixes Valkenhyn, etc.). A is more likely.

Now, I don't know a whole lot about Murakumo, but she seems to have alot of the stuff that gives Arakune trouble with Litchi and Lamda, if I'm not mistaken. So, everyone repeat that in this thread and we'll call it good:vbang: (just kidding)
