If you like him go for it. Don't let tier lists stop you from playing a character. Just accept that people like me will bitch about it. If memory serves, in BBCS2 all they did was cut his damage and make it so he can't turn every hit into nonsense damage. But that it pretty much what they did with all the higher tier characters.
