I would love any tips here. I feel like I can't get my zoning started and I'm scared of Pineberry.

I have played only against Wauhti, but far slash is still your best poke on a ground, your j.hs beats her every air move, Your 6P is also very strong antiair along with 5k. There isnt really a move she can do to beat those 2 if she is in air.

 

I like to be in the air a lot aswell. if she throws the strawberry grenade that means you can throw your item and then jump over the grenade before it lands OR dash under it. If you dash under straight to the bunny you can do even running 6p which beats most of her moves. This is not a good idea thou, but usually works. I still recommend just superjumping after you went under the grenade and throw a bag to get new item out.

If you get a killer item like meteor, she cant do anything but wait. This is 1-2 free mixups for you and things start to go well for Faust if opponent is in corner.

 

If for some reason you get into a corner and she is shotgun pressuring you, either IB those shots (very easy to do) and save meter for dead angle ((safest way to go)). FD IB:ing those shots is also easy to do, this way you wont get chipped so hard, but then you have to make sure it counts when she is getting closer again with her shotgun. This means you have to superjump out/poke her. I poke always with 2p or far slash.

 

Also dont forget to use your blitz. If she is getting closer to you with her shotgun pressure, feel free to blitz those mid attacks. She might counterblitz you but if you go for mettakiri or 2hs instead of close slash, she will most likely fail to blitz back.

 

Its definetly one of the hardest matchups for faust, but i still think its his favor 5.5-4.5 if you know what you are doing.

Hardest being zato, then millia and for some reason chipp is lots of bullshit with teleport yrc punishes against random pokes/item throwing.

Anyway this is our latest set with Wauhti. Some stuff has changed since the patch and far slash hurtbox is bigger = Its not that good as it used to be.

I made same kind of video against potemkin, just to show how i deal against him.

 

We play about 50/50 in this set.

 

This is far from JP level of gameplay, but it should be ok against americans and europeans
