i've noticed taht teh server load has been spiking occasionally and access to the site gets blocked for a minutes or two at a time. is taht what you're talking about?

I think that's what Grimsley meant, its not just him, I also get hit by errors, and yes, its server load, it happens, and its only temporary, don't worry about it.
