Establish space with 2S and j.H, both will stuff many of sol's moves if spaced right. You can usually throw a ball without yrc from fullscreen, then press 2S to stop sol's approach. There's not much sol can do against the ball so try to get offense going once the ball's out, but don't go too nuts. May's gameplan revolves around zoning with 2S and j.H until she gets a ball out, in my experience.

On offense, be careful with meaty hoop releases since the block stun is short, especially on IB, I got VV out of that quite a few times. Max range late 6[H] on oki is good to bait out VVs in corner but lose to riot stomp midscreen.

BS is your friend on defense, or risk a 6P which will beat both bandit bringer and bandit revolver mid blockstring.

 

Overall, I find that May control space really well in this matchup but once Sol knocks her down she's in big trouble.
