Version en francais en dessous. Entry fee 5$ Soft drinks 1$ Schedule : 5pm Venue opens 7pm GGXrd start (double elimination, 2/3 matches) 8pm BBCP, UNIEL start (both single elimination, 1 match) ?pm Venue closes (last metro is around midnight if you're heading east) IMPORTANT : We'll need people to bring equipment. Most setups there are CRTs, so I'm bringing a monitor+PS3 for the main station. If you're bringing a PS3, make sure to bring at least the RCA output cable, if you can't bring a monitor. Bring your sticks too please! Seriously no idea how many we'll need nor how many we'll have since it's the first time, but if you could post and let us know ahead what you're bringing it would be awesome! So, there should be lots of time for casuals, maybe we'll run other games, if there's local interest. I really want to support other games such as AH3, DFC, Melty... but let's at least start simple. Since it's a new place for us, we're not sure what the ideal format and schedule are. I know some people specifically won't be able to be there early enough for the tournaments' start, but without the knowledge of how many stations we'll have and how long they will take to run, I want to play it safe this week. There should be a stream, I'll post details when we figure that out. Prize for all games will come from this, if it's under 35$, it'll be winner takes all, if it's above, we'll split it between top 3. Also going to stick to the schedule better so we can fit these games in this week. If you think you might be late for a game, you can still post here to sign up, we'll hold your matches a bit, but could DQ you eventually. UNIEL made it in this week due to the result from the poll. We'll see how that goes, how late it ends, and see if the next times we'll make a rotation with another game, or run it after... The more setups we have the more stations we can use for casuals in the back ~~DIFFERENCES FROM LAST TIME~~ -It's a Saturday so we're starting earlier, more time so more events. Also, last metro is a bit later. -BBCP will be 2v2, waseda style. No rules on who can team with who. Double elimination, all matches are 2/3 rounds bo1. Same rules apply to GGXrd teams. -The time listed for UNIEL and GGXrd 2v2 is the time at which we'll start DQing people. We'll start the bracket at 7pm to make things run faster if players are there. Post here if you know you'll be late, we'll save you a spot in the bracket (this applies to other tournaments too). -There should be some time after the tournaments for other stuff. Maybe just casuals, maybe a tournament for a less played game? -In case the food break isn't clear, please wait until you're eliminated from Xrd to go eat, and please be back for 8pm. There are quite a few restaurants in the area, I hear we even get a discount at Copoli if we mention that Kyle from the Smashloft sent us :o -Payout for each tournament might seem a bit low, but I want to keep costs low, so I'll provide either some bounties or pot bonuses to make things more interesting. We'll be taking sign ups for these games, and will run those with at least 4 entrants, starting with the one that has the most entrants.
