Hudson Valley, NY - Searching for players about 80min north of NYC

Hey all, was searching through the forum and didn't really find anything relating to my area, so I figure I would give it a shot.

 

I currently live in Newburgh, NY, close to the Newburgh-Beacon bridge, and am new to GG. Me, along with a few friends started up our own community up here and, although small, have in the past hosted tournaments and the like. 

 

Currently we are looking for another venue to host events from, so I am personally doing sessions out of my apartment for whatever games people wanna play. Right now the games I have consistently had are GGXrd, USF4 and UMvC3.

 

So far, a few of my locals and I are really enjoying Xrd, and really wanna branch out and play more people, or even help people learn to play (any game for that matter).

 

If you live close and wanna press some buttons, let me know! If you also have sessions or events close, I wanna go! 

 

So cmon guys, lets press buttons!

Sorry for the late reply. Been a long time since I made that thread lol. If you can make it to Troy NY we hold sessions every Thursdays around 6PM at a place called Pastime Legends Video Game Store.

Yeah we have an fgc page but it's pretty inactive sadly. Probably most active on Twitter anyway.

Ok so it's been about a year since this thread went up. I'm praying you haven't abandoned it completely. I live in West Nyack, NY which is basically kissing the Hudson Valley. I'm very new to Guilty Gear but I've been feverishly absorbing as much info as I can, I freaking love this series. If you're still looking for a venue or people to play, I know about 4 other guys besides me who would love to get together to play some GG. If you're still looking for a venue, there's a hobby shop within 10 minutes of me that hosts a Smash bros Melee Weekly run by some friends who are really cool with the owners.
