The moment Ragna got in at any moment at any game, Lambda/Nu had the disadvantage.

Really? I don't feel like Nu is at the disadvantage against Ragna up close (unless she is in the corner). Two good combos from Nu up close and Ragna is dead. And Nu's 3C seems to beat out Ragna's 5B a lot in my experience and leads to stupid damage using 50 meter, which Nu almost always has.

^^you are right, Nu isn't as good up close as she is at a distance, but still... she's top tier for a reason. 3C and 2C are fast enough to cause massive headaches, and Nu can back-dash out of most of ragna's pressure and oki. The only way to truly get nu at a disadvantage is to grab her ass with 22C.

Lambda on the other hand, not so much. her C attacks are alot slower (you know like everyone else's C attacks), she gets a DP, but it isn't a good one. Plus it's much easier to end combos with 22C in CS.

I am a former Nu player cause fights can just be to dang easy. This match begins with a guess and ends with someones death. Just starting out a Nu player will most likely HJ back dash and use j2D. Then from there they'll start with with 5D-2D crescent saber zone out. Then if they have enough space they'll throw out in between 5D and 6D swords to catch air dashing in. The best way I use to get in is to either know the pulsar spacing and predict when they'll approach then ID. The other is to get out of 5D range, Some Nu's will throw out 4D to catch you with a sword. As soon as you see the animation run at her like a mad man and 5B her into standard combo. Then from there try to keep in her face and apply good pressure strings, high low game, be careful if you use dead spike cause she can back dash outta that if they have good reaction. This has to be one of the most annoying matches to fight, next to Kune/Nu vs Tager.

I've been having a lot of trouble with this match recently. i can deal with the swords okay but what do you do about that damned teleport? It seems like it's just free pressure/escaping pressure.

Is there any good way to punish it or scare nu from using it?

Ragna's 5B and 2B should beat out anything Nu can do if she teleports next to you.

Not much you can do about letting her escape except not letting Nu get out 2C. This was the biggest reason the teleport was taken out.

I believe Hell's Fang and Carnage Scissors can punish the teleport, but that is just based on what i have seen people do. If it does work, it probably has strict timing.

Hmm.... it must be a timing thing then, cause 5B never seems to hit her before she's started something, I probably just have to IB better (IBing online ).

5B doesn't but 5C catches her if you're fast enough.

Isn't 5C slower than 5B? If 5B doesn't work, how would 5C?

If you do 5B too fast, it would may fail because Nu has a 16 frame window of invincibility from all non-low attacks. There are 7 frames when she is vulnerable to attacks before she can attack.

On another note, falling jB to work also. But remember online makes it hard to react to her teleport, so you have to have god-like reactions or yomi skills to successfully handle it.

The teleport is only vulnerable to lows... this I did not know. Thanks SwordOfToan I will give 2B a whirl and see how it goes.

5C does not work unless nu is doing something dumb, so I wouldn't recommend it, its just too slow.

Ok, I just know that at the start of the match I've caught a few with 5C since it has pretty good range.

At the start of the match...? Nu can only Act Parser(the teleport) from her 2C, 6C, and normal drive moves. Were you talking about her backdash, bustedwolf?
