Starkaiser Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I guess she would have one on tall characters, lolAlso, for people that don't about this, 623C>RC j.B IOHI've known about it for a long time. What is that meaning? IOH ?
Nakkiel Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Instant Over-Head. It generally refers to being able to use an air normal very shortly after leaving the ground that will hit the opponent.
Starkaiser Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) What can you do when Ragna "burst" you out to the wall (or punch you to wall), and then he is dashing in order to 5B you as soon as you wake up. I try several thing, but it seem only choice so far is to block his 5B and let him pressure me more and more at that corner. Also, when you are in the corner, some Jin keep pressuring non-stop, how should you get off it without heat. what is the gap?Since Jin can't overhead into combo without heat, sometimes I know he will jump (little) then j2C during Jump to hit the head, I would try to react as soon as possible with 6A, but it always come out slower, and his 2C in the end win.. If I choose to keep blocking then it is endless. Edited August 19, 2015 by Starkaiser
Starkaiser Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Also, I would like to know what is the current best Arcade stick for Blazblue (v-13) ?I heard that Hori Real Arcade is the best from review, but then I see some comment that they play guilty gear and it is suck about how the direction stick return not to neutral point but opposite side first then go to neutral. Then I see the review for Blazblue own edition arcade stick, and people complain also. So now, I am not sure which to buy..
Nakkiel Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Sometimes you are just going to have to block, there isn't always a way out of the situation you've been put in besides defending until there is a gap. Using the defensive mechanics like Instant Block and Barrier are necessary to create gaps or space to get out, we don't have a DP to use. I play on a TE2 and it's fine.
pokemonblaze234 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Nakkiel already said things, but if you want to get out of the corner to stop corner rape from Ragna, then ehhhh... either IB to create gaps or know how to escape his pressure, you could also just GC out. GCOD is a good tool if you know how to use it.Also, I heard that there was a guy here that was alluding to Ragna being broken but I see nothing about him being broken
Starkaiser Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Ragna isn't broken, but he has a lot more tool against zoning character now, which means he doesn't have any weak point anymore. He also has very good frame good distant than other melee characters, so definitely he is one of the higher tier. On Pro level, you see Ragna win Nu more than Nu win Ragna nowadays, it was different before on CS. (as lamda) If he has 50 heat, it means you can't do any zoning to him at all unless you have someway to bait him first or catch him off-guard. But good players wouldn't make mistake like that. Anything you shoot, he will counter with his DD into combo of 5000.
Starkaiser Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Btw, so About Arcade Stick, anybody know if Real Arcade Pro series is good? Or it is bad as some people says before?
pokemonblaze234 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 ehhhhhh...... carnage scissors can be baited with 214D, lol. You just cancel it with C on reaction to supeflash.I do in fact think that he's got better tools to deal with a character like Nu, but it still ain't easy for him.

He can bait you back with that if he know what is he doing. I learn this with singapore Ranga. At first my 214D hit him without intention, then more times later i learn how to timing 214D for his canage... then what do you think? He learn to aim for the time that it never works. And in the end, it is his win. Because he can wait longer, but you can't hold 214D infinitely long. He will wait til you release the button!! There is no way you can win over canage by any zoning now
someonewhodied Posted August 20, 2015 Author Posted August 20, 2015 uh why are you doing 214D when he is close enough for CS to go through it?There is no reason for him to be able to CS you. You can also delay drive followups a bit to bait CS and just backwards parser on reaction to superflash. Its easier for ragna than before but its still nu's favor.
pokemonblaze234 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 The 214D is for Ragna's that don't know :V
No Limitz Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Might as well post this here:It's a good video on how not to fight Haz lol
pokemonblaze234 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) Here's soome bad advice at 5:40AM:ehhhhhhh......... work on optimizing your confirms and i usually like to stay in on Haz, but that's just me, or n aother words, i just like "rush him down", basically.BlackWing is mai husbando EDIT: Also, stop doing 214C and start doing 214B/A Edited August 21, 2015 by pokemonblaze234

Will backward step really come out faster than CS ?And btw, no matter what distant you have, you can't 214D him while he has 50 heat at all. Because 214D is slow, even if he is at full distant he can still dash in first before using CS. This ragna has been playing with me until he know every nu-13 tools.
pokemonblaze234 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) So who do you guys think are Nu's bad MUs?I personally think that Nu's only bad MUs are Izayoi and Bang. Izayoi is just like, kill her normal mode or you'll die, you should zone her out, but she can get stock pretty damn easily if you make a mistake, then it's RIP. And even then then she can just OD for stock and kill you then. Bang is...... Bang, lol Edited August 25, 2015 by pokemonblaze234

Bang has so many options against our zoning I feel like i'm unsafe even when comboing him. Other than them I think tao and Valk still have an advantage vs nu though that might only be me. (I fear not having chaser vs them...) Edit: oh wasnt there a time when our CA hit crouching opponents(cse, cp?)? Could of sworn we could hit tao crouching in one of the patches. Edited August 25, 2015 by SyncNatsyu
pokemonblaze234 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Tao can be dealt with, I'm no Tao specialist but I know that she's not really a bad MU.Valk is 5-5, he's got his options, but he can't just go into wolf form for free vs Nu, unlike other characters, but other than that, Valk is Valk and Nu is Nu, lolI think it was in 1.1, the CA thing, I know that the hitbox got buffed in it
Starkaiser Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Does Japan has any MU rate between Nu and each other character? Or those MU 5-5 etc are what you guys thinking up by your own?Personally, I don't think Ragna is on Nu favor anymore, but generally people still think that because all the beginner like to start playing Ragna first, and thus, bring amount of pro Ragna down the portion.

They might, Ragna is played by most people now soooo it should be there, also new Nu-13 player here CKizama nice to meet ya ^ ^ Also have a demo video for you guyshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igL7R1uNNuA

If anything, Nu vs Ragna seems 5.5-4.5 to Nu, and no, that is not the reason why.
Starkaiser Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) The dustloop now has a link to jp MU website for specific character. If you go check Nu-Ragna match up in 2015, it is Ragna win 75% and Nu only win 25%.Consider how they are pro players video i think Ragna is the one with favor here. If nu let a pro Ragna gain 50 heats, then you notice he will stop zoning him and go into semi close cambat, mistake means die. Nu had to nuje ragna so much to kill him, but Ragna usually can corner pro nu in one go. Even a pro nu has hard time getting out of corner Edited August 28, 2015 by Starkaiser
Koro_Kizama Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I find this to be oh so true, I cant seem to find a clear opening to get out of the corner, I would use Counter Assaults and save burst just in-case I am in the corner getting mixed up to everlasting h*ll..... I need to look up ways on how to prevent getting in the situation to not be a victim of corner rahp lol. anyone have any Ideas, Ill see if I can post a video of me succeeding and one failing to get out.The dustloop now has a link to jp MU website for specific character. Starkaiser Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Well, nobody can really help you how to get out, the only way is to predict your opinion movement if you know him enough. However, as you see on the pro videos, in the situation between pro vs pro, they still have a hard time getting out and often got 1-shot there on the corner. Nu is made as a weak defender by design. Majority of the character can counter against Oki by using DP on the wake, that alone can change everything, because it gives opponent a guess game. Unlike nu, they don't have to guess at all, and can stand by watching over how you wake up, and react to it, because they know you can't do anything about that. So you after he finish his combo, you will have to wake up in prepare for another set of blocking. if you guess wrong, you got another combo and reset, if you guess right, then you may get out.
pokemonblaze234 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Nu has weak defense options, so she can even have trouble getting out of the corner against Terumi. You just need to know how to deal with said characters pressure. Also, by your logic, Valk should suck(along with Nu).
