Learning to just to kill some time too due to the people I play not being able to deal with bees or REAL Soviet Damage
Gawse Council Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 I can't find anyone I enjoy enough to sub. I love Tager but I can't 360/720 or do any of his B&B, same goes for Hakumen. Idk, at this point you can hardly tell I main Arakune if you were to watch my fights =/

I am at the same place as you; though I am going to practice a lot with Arakune to keep my play most-focused on him... Still, the allure of Tsubaki's play sometimes gets the best of me.
Skye Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I wonder how many people will still be playing him once CS hits consoles. He already seems pretty dry in Japan. In any case, I sub Jin and to a lesser extent, Nu. Once CS comes around, I'll be subbing Lambda and to a lesser extent, Tsubaki.

I will probably main Hazama though, he's got a pimping Fedora and the nature of his moveset gives me so much more mindgame and hard read opportunities Ah well, they are right next to each other on the tier list, so it will always be like I'm playing both of them.

PhantomX Posted May 13, 2010 Posted May 13, 2010 CS Bang is easy mode to play, Arakune may have had ridiculous strengths, but you still needed good timing and awareness of positioning as well as the ability to delay certain bees depending on the situation. Much more skill required than "spam 5As until connect." Add to that the fact that we have no ground dash to set up for moves.

Plus I can rock my 3s Q outfit (red trench coat). I won't know for sure if he'll be my sub til I check out Valkanhayn though. Or if Platinum turns out to be like Zappa I'll have to get past how retarded she looks because that equals insta-sub.
isuckatgames Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I like taokaka, arakune is fun, but he doesn't feel like a 'real' character. Not saying he's cheap or easy, but his mobility is really wierd, he basically can't combo off his ground pokes without meter, his dash is odd, and half his normals feel like specials(leaving me feeling like he doesn't really have normals). Taokaka i think, keeps the good mobility, has good normals, and has really good ability to combo off of ground pokes. no offence but that justmeans you suck..and yea it now takes skill to play arakune... fuck..i want a sub..well no i dont..but if i start losing alot..i guess ill have to get a sub to counter peeps
