Platina also has hearts in her eyes :\ I'm looking forward to Makoto fanservice/underboob, and Valkenhayn. I guess whether or not I choose to main Valken over Hazama depends on his playstyle. For now I'm gonna stick w/ the Smooth Criminal.

So how many new characters are they gonna include? Hope Valkenhayn is awesome (as in cool looking). Would be neat to have both him and Hazama :P

Unlimited Ragna SUCKS, because he takes forever to kill and is so freaking fast, haha. Most AI has some exploitable thing you can do to punish them, so Score Attack isn't so bad.

Haha, sometimes I find myself just standing full distance and using/retracting chains until they get against characters that can't do much about it.

If it can work on anyone else at all, it would be Rachel, but that's it. I mean, look at that first Jakou, it's not even touching Tager, lol. No one else has a hurtbox that huge... then again, you could just Jakou earlier.

That combo blew my mind... I guess he couldn't have landed the 3C > Jayoku there instead of Mizuchi?

I can do 3C > Jayoku easier than Jakou > Rekkazan for some reason, haha... the timing is pretty tight, though. I use Mizuchi is a round ender, mostly, b/c it's a cool way to finish a round.

You can just do Back grab straight into Rekkazan, too. I think it looks cooler that way.

You don't HAVE to charge the move, if you're fast you can do the 214D~B all as a buffered input and then it will all happen at once, haha. Also, the stance will sometimes make people hesitate to approach (especially if you've been using it right), at which point you get a little time to jump or dash away.

Dash 2A is more of a mid-short range move than pure mid range. You just gotta gtfo and get some space, generally, unless you can land jBs on them. Going into Hazama's stance and then reacting based on what they do can also work (either Zaneiga if they are hesitant of dashing in, Gashoukyaku if they try to IAD/attack in, and maybe a Ressenga for mixup)

I like to start doing jBs... that move has hella range.

Wow... Zakiyama did a counterhit chain > 66 > 66 > 5B. I was thoroughly impressed. I also love his 5B round enders they make me smile.

That's kind of what I was implying... you can't cancel once you've committed to moving forward, and then w/ good reactions they can literally hit you with any fast move out of it. Also, I liked Buppa's HZ a lot more this time, it was much safer in its pressure, but still rape.

Does Buppa dash into Zaneiga? Usually he does it after a comboed Jayoku, which never hits far enough away for you to have to dash... that'll only happen on random Jayokus or reversal Jayokus, at which point it's probably easier/better to do the 6/4D version of the combo.

Most of the time you don't even need to dash, 214D~C has huge range, so just hold forward and walk a bit, and then do a quick uncharged Zaneiga if you're worried, like 200 less damage from that one move, but at least you get the followup and meter. I still think getting Mizuchi after Jakou is way harder than 3C, haha. For the dash input it as they're about to hit the floor, iirc.

Buzama key is spamming Ressenga and 2A :P

After a 3C on guard you can go for the Zaneiga, or even charge it a bit to trap them and go straight from that into the BnB. Other than that you can do epic things like counter spark bolts or Noel's long range shots with Mizuchi Rekkazan if you time the invulnerability right, haha.

They can IB though, it's not like we have enough mixup to make that difficult for them, and some characters can punish big after that, especially if we keep using the same two moves to frame trap, lol. Kind of hard to react to an instant block.

Yeah, with defensive and slow characters you can just chain all day until one hits and then go for the BnB on hitconfirm. This is pretty much what I do against Tager players, lol. When people keep rushing you down it's hard to put up good defense and chains suck when they can close distance really quickly.

I find applying pressure and/or closing distance to be extremely difficult with Hazama compared to with other characters, to be honest.

It might be comboable on CH. Pretty sure you don't get enough time to do anything out of regular hit.
