9TNine Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I found something weird. Don´t know if it has been already post: Once you unlock / backgrounds, you also get the XX ones. Go to a Slash stage, hold L2 button (i have respect on this one) and then you´ll go straight to the past. HOLY FUCK THANK YOU. -9
RAMMSTEIN Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Quick Question. Am i doing something wrong? I have left My NA copy of accent core running for about 24 hours now and / stages unlocked yet, do you recommend me waiting another day or are / stages simply not in NA accent core?
Hatred Edge Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 IIRC Stages are the last thing to come and they come about 1 per hour I think. Don't forget to turn auto-save.
RAMMSTEIN Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Hmm well I have auto save on but i just saved manually just in case and i went back to traning and letting it sit again Hopefully I will get them unlocked the AC stages dont work for me <_<
RAMMSTEIN Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 yeah it really does its beeen several hours now im about to go check and see if i got anything wish meh luck
H-F Blade Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Oh shit, the XX stages are also available too? omg damn. I left my ps2 on all night last night and no / stages unlocked at all. <.< Also, does the stage select wheel ever end up on the older stages when you try to go random?
Rift Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 does the stage select wheel ever end up on the older stages when you try to go random? Yes.
RAMMSTEIN Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 okay so youre saying EX characters cant be time released? and also i just went to check if anything was new and i noticed GGX mode was unlocked and i havent beaten arcade with half the cast yet. Does this mean im getting close to other unlockable things?
9TNine Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Oh shit, the XX stages are also available too? omg damn. I left my ps2 on all night last night and no / stages unlocked at all. <.< Also, does the stage select wheel ever end up on the older stages when you try to go random? I can't speak for the US Version, but as Blade said the JPN version doesn't. However, if you hit up while it's spinning you can stop it on whatever it's on, including XX/ stages. I just do that a few times. -9
Hatred Edge Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 IIRC in all installments of the XX series EX characters can be unlocked via time-release. However I never got all the special illustrations.
H-F Blade Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I now have all the stages unlocked and it appears that random select will actually land on the old stages without the need to press up.
kykiske.1234 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Ok....slowly, I've been unlocking the / stages in my copy of AC. It started off with the / version of I-no's stage, then the / version of Phantom City appeared selectable and then Grove, and they just kept unlocking. At this point, I have Zepp, Colony, Nivana, Mayship, China, London, Verdent, Castle, Russia, Phantom City, Grove and Babylon. So, here are my questions: 1. How the hell to unlock these exactly, is it time release? 2. Does it possibly anything to do with the fact that I still have a / save file on my memory card? 3. If Heaven and Grave are unlockable, is there a small chance Kliff and Justice are selectable even though they aren't anywhere to be found in the CD data? 4. Any chance in hell (no pun intended) that XX/#R versions of the stages, and perhaps even X stages are unlockable? I'm sure no one can answer my questions, but if anyone does know anything, feel free to post. Hi I'm new here and I actually know how this stage thing works. After unlocking all of the EX characters(which you obviously did already), you then get the SLASH stages in an hourly release(don't know the orders). Whenever you get the Slash version of the stages, you have the #Reload version of the stages also. To select the #Reload version of the stage, simply hold the Respect(R2) button on the Slash version of the stage. Oh and another thing there is no X versions of the stages on AC. Glad I could help. Sorry, don't know about Kliff or Justice's stage. I do hope they're on it though.
black anji Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 plz anyone .. i left my ps2 open for a million hours and i have everything but there is no gold or black charecters or new stages and i read all this forum and nothing if someone could sum it all up i will be thankfull ..
Hatred Edge Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 What? I got gold/Black Characters before I got the stages. Stages came last for me. -Black/Gold Characters are only with SLASH and #R(Taunt button) settings of the character you selected(I believe L1 and R1?)AC colors and EX colors don't have a Gold/Black option.
Rift Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 plz anyone .. i left my ps2 open for a million hours and i have everything but there is no gold or black charecters or new stages and i read all this forum and nothing if someone could sum it all up i will be thankfull .. Did you leave it on in a match though? It has to be unpaused in training mode or vs mode or arcade mode (leave it on in training mode).
reaVer Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 no need to be in a match, and I recall both gold and black being in #Reload colors, it could also be that black is in a / color and gold is in a #R color. For gold it's #R D. The new stages are simply in the stages list when picking one, nothing fancy really.
black anji Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 do i have to play agianst HOS or not ? do i have to play against a gold character? is it only by time???????!!!!!!!! ((i left the game on vs mode unpaused ))
Cloud_1one Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 well, i`ve unlocked all stages and i think i know how unlock them. First i unlocked all normal arcade ending (unlocking GG and GGX mode), and all EX ending, after that the Gold Character begin to appear every hour, and once you unlock all gold character (they appear at the survival order, and after unlock all gold characters see the gallery and you will see the illustration no.7), leave the geme for 1 or 2 hours and the first stage will appear, and so each hour an stage will be unlocked for a total of 16 Stages, the first was Phantom City and the last was Paris. i posted this a looooong time ago, i did that way and i have all unlocked. so i hope this help.
Chomite Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I had to left on my ps2 virtually two days straight and unlocked so far upto EX characters and starts to unlock special illurstrations. I can't wait to get a new maps... I never thought about saving the game after practice becuase I was thinking what the hell is the point. I never knew you can unlock new maps and stuff -_-;; Thx for the info.
Chomite Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Hmm...it's weird. I unlocked all the GG, GGX modes. Normal/EX characters with time release. But after getting special illurstration 6, nothing seems to unlock anymore. No new maps or anything. Should I play survival to unlock everything or should I wait just a bit longer?
Vicioso Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 As I said before, Slash and #Reload stages don't unlock till all Gold Characters are unlocked. is survival mode the only way to unlock gold characters?
Chomite Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I checked right now and I think I unlocked black characters too and it's on its way to unlock all the characters. I'm going to leave my ps2 on for another day.
Chomite Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Thanks a lot, Blade! I'm now getting new maps as I'm writing this. Man, these maps look much better. It took me around 2~3 day leaving my ps2 going. I didn't do any survivals...just training.
