Kind of. Bloodedge Experience takes place in the past, but BlazBlue is it's starting point. So before Bloodedge Experience could occur the event of CF would probably have already happen.

Yay! Time travel.

One of these days, I'd like to see a prim and proper scholar (of physics and theoretical science preferably) sit his/her ass down and read all the lore behind Blazblue, Bloodedge Experience, XBlaze and even Remix Heart. I'd imagine we'd find them a week later behind a dumpster on 34th street constantly mumbling the phrase "the cake was the Azure" over and over.

But on a more serious note, if Blazblue is the starting point of Bloodedge Experience, then why is Clavis a decrepit old man in Blazblue's time (Phase Shift) but a much younger one in Bloodedge Experience? Same with Relius and Valkenhayn.

I'm glad that Ragna is starting to act like himself again, pretty disappointed with how Azrael turned out in general in the story. Feels like he got shafted hard in both CP and CF, at least Amane got to be extremely plot relevant.

Because it's not like they have time traveled. It's only probably something that happens in CF, gets sent back and creates a "possibility" that leads to the Bloodedge Experience.

I believe that most of Bloodedge Experience played out the same in the Blazblue world, it's probably only a few events that differ (like Rachel's phenomena intervention and Hazama meeting Valkenhany and Relius). Most of the big differences did properly happen after the end of the second book.

As for the aging of Clavis, Clavis isn't a natural being so his aging is properly not natural either. The reason for the aging is not known though.

I still feel like there's some sort of logical connection for Saya T./Izanami somewhere in between all of this....but I'm not quite sure where. MMOOORRRIIIII

That's actually a pretty funny way to look at it. Of the 3 (Azrael, Bullet and Amane), only Azrael got any sort of relevance to the plot in vanilla CP (CPEX added Bullet's expansion). In CF, he's actually the wild card (emphasis on wild) so he's mostly doing as he pleases. Kicking the fabric of time and space around like a baws. Making pacts with Death Goddesses, like a baws. Making plans to beat down the rest of the godly pantheon...like a baws. The guy's in his element and having a blast. Remember, the man is a walking engine of doom and there's scarce amount of people that can actually stop him. He doesn't need much more characterization beyond this to function for the narrative at large.

Amane though is only now becoming more relevant but at least it's in a meaningful way. We knew he was going to be special, though I am honestly surprised his encounter with Ragna in CP ended up being more pivotal than initially thought. Now a part of me wants a gag reel where Ragna DOES join his troupe and becomes a complete bishonen that it unnerves even JIN.

I know, Maximus, I have that feel too... about both things...

Well, now let's wait for the rest of the summary and wait until we get a date to console, which may be in the middle-late of the year...

I have to say it is really something unusual to see and a surprised, but we saw bigger surprises, however everything we see and happen with Naoto seems to make less and less sense. It was like I said before, this act will give way more qustions than answers.

So Raquel was Rachel all along?

I really don't think that, since Raquel's drive and Rachel's drive being similar with different names. However, with Naoto not only being from this timeline, but from this world (this is what I understood from his arcade) may solve about why most of people hates him and why he causes much trouble around. Also, it may explain why Rachel doesn't remember anything about Raquel.

Oh so Raquel is using Rachel's body as a soul jar now? So Naoto and Raquel where from the BlazBlue time so now I am really questioning Rachel and Ragna 's presence as well as where the master unit came from?Azrael seems to want to know more about it.

Wait, Terumi claims Nine wanted to make another Take-Mikazuchi? One powerful enough to blow up the world? Nine needs to take a chill pill and pronto. For someone who claims that she wants the world to "not repeat the same tale", she doing the exact same thing. Every time Ragna and Nu-13 merged before, Takamagahara used it to blow up the loop and then repeat back to 100 years later. I do not see how her using it to blow up everything and then reshape it for another result is any different. Then again, she seems to have gone galloping crazy as of late so I guess it's up to Celica to deal with her (perhaps with Kokonoe's help).

In the case, then she would need to blow up anything that can merge into a Black Beast. Ragna, Nu, Hazama, (maybe) Terumi and, obviously, Noel, since that combination of Azure and Murakumo.

EDIT: And about Celica teaching a lesson to Nine, I doubt Nine will listen her sister. Nine always doubt about Celica's choices and try to make things in her way to not harm Celica that much.

Celica put Nine in her place.

This time she actually has a reason to though, Ragna is the one who gave her an oppritunity to save Celica when nobody else could back in Phase 0.

So that jossed about Rachel being Raquel's choronophantasma so whose chornophantasma Rachel belongs to?

Rachel is a Chrono Phantasma because she was an Observer. If I recall it right, she said it herself in CP.

Chonophantasma as in Phantom of Time, just to be clear.

It is true she has a reason, but even Rags giving her an opportunity to live twice (CP), just leaving Nine, quiet isn't that enough, since Celica doesn't know as much Nine know. However, both girls have their flaws in their opinions. Nine wants to destroy the world to recreate it, while Celica want to trust someone that is slowly dying and that will become the creature that Celica wanted to sacrifice herself back in Phase 0.
