Yukianesa Drive Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I don't know exactly where this question would go, but I'm guessing it's here since this section related to fighting game media. Anywho, I'm an avid guitar nooblet and I love trying covers of my favorite songs in different video games. And I'd definitely love to try some of the things I've heard in BlazBlue. Particularly, "Rebellion" and "Bullet Dance". Unfortunately, it seems the only guitar tab I've found for BlazBlue so far has been "Under Heaven Destruction", which is a good song and all, but it's not what I want to play. Does anyone know of any more tabs? I haven't looked at this topic till now, and now that I have, I was wondering, has anyone played Lust Sin? I mean, really it's my favorite song in CT, and so I'd love to hear someone play it, since I have no talent with any instrument of any kind. If someone has, send me the link or whatever through mail, since I'll likely be too air-headed to come look back here...

Dorro Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Know this topic doesn't get much attention, but no where else to ask. I was messing around on guitar earlier and coulda sworn I managed to play, like, first six notes of Howling Moon's chorus (YOU KNOW THE PART). Was wondering if anyone could verify that my ears are correct. Simple tab: b|-------------9-10--12--- g|-11---10-11------------- As someone who qualifies as beginner, I would be very surprised if this actually did sound legit to anyone else. As well as proud.
TemptingRose Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 heyyy you how about sword of doom- mu 12's theme and "the man"- that man's theme for guilty gear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS0Zxctzrk0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1BENTu2-vE

Beast of Fire Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Well guys... I'm back, but not with Marionette Purple this time. When I heard Sword of Doom the first time, I felt like 'I NEED TO TAB THIS'. I know for some it is not the strongest Blazblue Track, but I did enjoy the epic intro and the solo, so I decided to fulfill a request of mine first, LOL. You guys ok with this? Well, I hope you like it! Tuning Guitars: 7-String (BEADGBE) Bass: 5-String (BEADG) This tab also contains the voices transcriptions, the intro and the solos! I might finish Keep The Flag Flying before going back to the queue, so stay sharp and have fun! Covered Songs: . Gluttony Fang (Bjholmes2), Blood Pain (Rehashed) & Condemnation Wings (Defnist47); . Nightmare Fiction (Skye); . Oriental Flower (Rehashed); . Memory of Tears (Defnist47); . Rebellion (blazeu25, Shinsyn0021); . Black Onslaught (the8anarchist); . I'm gonna start working on Marionette Purple soon, I think I might finish the Keep The Flag Flying first and the I'll go back to the queue! I'll try to tab out the drums for any of those songs since I attempted to do Litchi's theme. I updated the drums on it after taking a few hundred or so extra listens. Also after those listens there's what I believe to be a koto and a xylophone as well in the background. Twiggy, I downloaded your version and I'll listen carefully. :D Marionette purple! Can't wait. Be patient, I haven't forgotten you guys. Never. To Beast: I seriously love you*. Started practicing a guitar a while ago. Still not "there" yet, but one of my goals is to play these songs some day, and you've really helped with that. So to you, thanks. As well... I remember you mentioning that you were working on a tab of Keep the Flag Flying. This is my FAVORITE GG song, and one I'd definitely love to play. I was wondering if it wasn't finished yet, could I make a request for it? Disregard if you don't feel like working on it; I can see by this thread that you're a very busy man. I'd understand. *Please don't take that the wrong way. And to Redoubt: That cover was AWESOME. Seriously. Guitar was kinda quiet at the start while the drums were a bit loud, but still, great. Hhahaahahaha, I understand, rest assured. In fact I think I might finish Keep The Flag Flying before getting back to Marionette Purple because the rhythm guitars and bass lines are finished. +1 to all the thanks for Beast and Redoubt! Signed up for these boards to make a request for the queue... thought it was there but I guess it was not: Weak Executioner. These tabs are much appreciated, thanks again! Added! heyyy you how about sword of doom- mu 12's theme and "the man"- that man's theme for guilty gear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS0Zxctzrk0&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1BENTu2-vE Well, I did like Sword of Doom and I decided to do that before your post, lol. Now your request is fulfilled! Added The Man to queue! Dorro Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Sword of Doom is possibly my favorite song to come out of CS. Coming here to a tab of it is like waking up on Christmas day ;_; ... And then seeing it's for a 7 stringed guitar is like finding out Christmas was canceled ;o; And as for Keep the Flag Flying, work as you please. I'd feel bad about having something I requested done before stuff requested earlier, but if it's closer to completion then do as you wish. I'm a patient person, I'm just happy you accepted it. ^^;

I'm a patient person, I'm just happy you accepted it. ^^; Don't Worry! You can still play the lead guitars (solos) without the 7th string. But the rhythm guitar is impossible to play without it. Valkenhayn and Makoto's themes also use 7-string guitar for their rhythm sections. See ya!
Dorro Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Yeah, I noticed that the lead only uses the 7th string twice throughout the whole song (for a two-string chord on the 18th fret) so I thought it'd be doable. However it still looks REALLY hard so I might wait on trying it out seriously. @_@ Just thinking about playing all those two-string chords so fast makes me go cross-eyed. Thanks again for everything you've done here by the way. Keep on rockin'.
Zeromegaman Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Can we get some Bass tabs? Man Im dying for some.` Edit: Now Guitar Pro, where can I get this program and how exactly does it help?

Guitar Pro is a buggy piece of garbage not worth the disc it's printed on. Get TuxGuitar for free; it loads Guitar Pro tabs: http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/

Keep on rockin'. about those two string chords maybe you can just choose which ones will go for two string such as 00 and 77 for the fast bits with the 2 string chords i only choose one number example 912 i only choose 9... coz i know the feeling man its like near impossible to do those at full speed

And I figure the best route to take, or best lazy route, would be to play two guitar parts: one playing one string and one the other. Like on that chord you mentioned, one would play the 9 and the other play the 12. Then they blend together... Honestly I THOUGHT there were two guitars playing lead while listening to it, at least in the chorus, but I'm pretty sure my musical ear still needs work anyway. <_<;

Well, TemptingRose is right. Because there are some guitar lines that I made at the same track (like the solos, I blended the main & harmony guitars in one track), you may choose one of them to play 9 or 12 (if I did understand the discussion correctly, if not, I'm sorry, please enlighten me). In the case of Sword of Doom, one of the guitar pro tracks contains two guitar lines in one. I will separate the tracks to avoid any further confusions and re-upload again, don't worry. I made the tab in kind of a hurry. And since no one ever talked about this issue, I never cared to separate the tracks because I thought you guys were ok with that, but no problem at all! Of course, the tabs might be not 100% accurate (including the patterns for playing), but it helps to players figure out the correct note and play at the position they feel most confortable. Actually I'm making these tabs to help people play and to serve as guidelines, there are things you may need adjust to your style of playing. Any comments, suggestions are highly appreciated, always! Thx for the support!
Dorro Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Well I don't mind the tracks how they are; I mean just now above I made the decision on splitting Sword of Doom. So long as we're given the whole it's not so hard to split them into the parts, so to speak. I think of it as a learning process. ^_^ On that note, that's really how I've used your tabs, or really all tabs period: I use them to help figure out what the notes themselves are, then figure out myself how I want to play them. Take Rebellion, for instance: once I read what the notes were, I went about deciding if I wanted to try and learn the sections as written or "moved around". The verse for example, I play most of it up on the middle of the neck as opposed to high up at the 12th fret area. Then I use that verse to gradually move myself up to play the bridge around the 12th, then I play the chorus mostly as written, with as you said "adjustments for play style". It makes me feel more like I'm playing an instrument by using tabs this way.

djKun Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 So I shouldn't be expecting Rachel's Queen of Rose? Then again, the only rock part ish is where the guitar solo is.
Beast of Fire Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 So I shouldn't be expecting Rachel's Queen of Rose? Then again, the only rock part ish is where the guitar solo is. Of course you should expect. If you wish, I'll do it. Oh, and guys, I already started working on Marionette Purple, and finished the bass (and acoustic bass), rhythm guitars and piano sections. I think I'll be posting the song next week!
