After a couple hours frames will decrease and you start dipping into the mid 50s. If that happens you need to simply restart the game. However, I do have a feeling that this has an impact on the entire lobby. So as soon as the host has dipping frames, everybody else starts lagging automatically. There was one room that made my FPS tank to 40fps prior to even having done anything. In other rooms the FPS were still at a stable 60. Definitely noticed this. Had the game running for about 3 hours straight last night and it went from a relatively stable 60fps (drops to 59 occasionally) all the way down to 51-54, unstable.
Meister Zeigler Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 I'm really confused because I have this game on MAX settings on my good computer and it looks choppy asf I don't know what's wrong can someone please help!!!

If none of that helps then it might be your drivers or your computer simply isnt even a toaster but a typewriter.

Maybe youre running some specific, low quality setting in the Nvidia HUB or something. I dont know, maybe post a screenshot? The game has the potential to look like this:

Meister Zeigler Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 See there is a clear difference between this picture and those and how jaggy the edges are and stuff.
ChexGuy Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Might be the anti-aliasing setting you're using. EDIT: 720p screenshots of the different anti-aliasing settings, managed to get them all on the same idle frame FXAA MLAA SMAA Is it just me, or does it also affect the HUD? MLAA doesn't look all that great. MOREEDIT: holy shit can we please have plaintext pasting jesus christ I hate this invision bullshit
nyyyyy Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 PC Gamer published a bunch of completely ludicrous 5K, partially 8K shots http://www.pcgamer.com/guilty-gear-xrd-sign-5k-gallery/?ns_campaign=article-feed&ns_mchannel=ref&ns_source=steam&ns_linkname=0&ns_fee=0

daymendou Posted December 11, 2015 Author Posted December 11, 2015 So my DS4 only seems to work if I connect it then start XRD. Can anyone confirm this? Hope I don't have to restart everytime when there's a 3+ player rotation Also switching "Post-Effect" from On to Off to On seems to keep it Off unless you restart Edit: I think I switched to Processing Priority by accident, switching Post-Effect seems to be fine
Shadowfury333 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 I haven't had a chance to test yet, but does Xrd have the usual ArcSys problem of only recognizing 2 controllers at a time (despite being able to do more on console and having the side selection)?

If not get that.

Danaiden Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Does SCP Server also works with PS3/PS4 sticks? Also everytime I change the INI data of the resolution it does not save them and rewrites them back to 1920x1080 when I start the game through Steam. Which important step am I missing here?

daymendou Posted December 12, 2015 Author Posted December 12, 2015 Tried streaming some netplay on 5 GHz wireless (lol) 35 down / 5 up. Streaming at 1080p and 60 FPS, I was still able to get 2F with someone in the same region. Other 4F matches seemed a lot smoother than 4F on PS4. Check the last half of this broadcast if you want a look: http://www.twitch.tv/daymendou/v/29519246 Game crashed once when I did Leo's backturn Super online then worked fine after I turned off V-sync. Played for an hour and got 1 instance of slowdown, which went away after I unplugged and replugged in my pad. With Quality Priority, FXAA, and Post Effects on, CPU peaked at 83-92 degrees C, GPU peaked at 76 degrees C. Overall, feeling very pleased with the port. Should be excellent as an offline setup and become better for online after patches.

Playstation sticks work natively with windows, as far back as like second or third wave TE1s? The only problems are with some very old motherboards not picking them up correctly, or sometimes a developer is really stupid and doesn't support directinput or whatever PS sticks are. The latter is really rare, I've only played Rising Thunder and the current beta builds of SFV are the only things I've played with the issue. Things that make Dualshocks work on PC don't even pick up sticks.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Hey Steam/PC players, since Xrd screenshots are such high quality, I was wondering if someone could seen me screen caps of Ky in default colors doing his intro in his stage and doing his IK as well. I would be greatly appreciated. Anyone willing to help a fellow dustloop member can PM. Also madcatz xbox sticks work with PCs right? Even ones that are dual modded for ps3/xbox Thanks

Yeah, I found a similar problem regarding the chips used in the USB ports if read it up correctly. The TE2 Fighstick from Madcatz which I am using only supports USB ports with some specific chip sets. It is recognised by other chips but they cannot read the inputs. Funnily the GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN- Arcade Stick Ebten Limited works completly fine on every USB port and the Share button even works as a normal Select/Back button. 2 hours ago, BladeOfJustice7 said: Also madcatz xbox sticks work with PCs right? StandAloneComplex Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 I'm having some issues with my game's framerate in general. I tried on two different computers, but I can't seem to pull any good framerates in the actual game. Computer A specs: MSI GE62 Apache 2QD Intel Core i7-5700HQ 2.70GHz nVidia GeForce GTX 960M 16GB RAM Windows 10 64-bit Native resolution is 1920x1080 Computer B specs: Alienware 14 Intel Core i5-4210M 2.60GHz nVidia GeForce GT 750M 8GB RAM Windows 7 64-bit Native resolution is 1366x768 I played around with the settings a lot on both machines, but I never really manage to pull any playable frames on either with any particular combination. I'm a bit confused as to what the cause could be. In a silly twist, I actually seem to get better playability on Computer B. If anyone's got any suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks.
