daymendou Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Computer A is very similar to mine, I suggest checking your Nvidia Control Panel settings as I can pull 60 FPS no problem even with other programs running. Make sure you have your Nvidia card as the preferred graphics professor instead of integrated graphics.
daymendou Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Right click Desktop -> Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings
StandAloneComplex Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Alrighty, i'll give that a try. Thanks. Edit: That did it. My frames are immaculate now. Thanks a lot. \o/

Can't seem to find an answer online, or haven't looked hard enough for one. EDIT: And by this I mean no drop down menu appears, even though there definitely was one before. I'm using Windows 7 if that helps. Edited December 13, 2015 by LaziestNameEver More detail
daymendou Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 I don't remember what Windows 7 is like but check Control Panel -> Display or Appearance and Personalization. Or check Program Files for any Nvidia Folders. On my Windows 10 laptop it's NVIDIA Corporation -> Control Panel Client -> nvcplui.exe Though I seem to vaguely remember a bug where the panel wouldn't start or appear in the drop down menu on my old Windows Vista laptop.
LaziestNameEver Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I actually figured out the issue. I had my laptop's System Locale set to Japanese to play a VN, when I set it back to English the box wasn't greyed out anymore. Still having lag issues though. Not sure what's going on.
daymendou Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Anyone know if the DS4 connects to computers through the USB wire or through Bluetooth? There were some noticeable lag spikes when playing offline with 2 DS4s.
Meister Zeigler Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Still can't figure out why this game won't run my native resolution in fullscreen...
Zouf Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Did someone notice input drops during online matches? It happened to me quite a lot during some matches (that weren't even so laggy). I couldn't do 236S with Ky, it would do 5S instead. Same for 236D not doing anything... Was kinda annoying.
The Badgerine Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Ey there. So I bought this on Steam and was downloading it, but it suddenly Queued itself for some reason at about 30%. I clicked Play and got it to keep downloading, but at 80% it happened again, and I got a message saying that there was an error because the download was corrupt. I keep trying to resume the download now but I just keep getting that message. Steam support site has nothing on this phenomena. Any advice please?
StandAloneComplex Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Hate to be the guy who goes "Have you tried turning it off and back on again?", but... If you haven't yet tried just deleting what you've downloading and starting again, do that.
The Badgerine Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Agh, didn't want it to come to that, I remember deleting local files of a game taking forever, but I'll give it a shot. EDIT: Wow, the uninstall was instant. My memory must be playing tricks on me. EDIT 2: It happened again, this time even earlier at 40%.
The Badgerine Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Hate to doublepost, but I tried it the third time and it happened again, at 30%. I'm gonna try restarting my computer, then starting the installation. Can anyone else share anything that might help?
ChexGuy Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 ok these are usually the next two questions after "have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again" are you downloading on wireless? have you tried verifying the game cache?
The Badgerine Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Yes and no, how does one go about doing that
StandAloneComplex Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I'm not sure what good verifying the game cache would do for an incomplete download, because either way it would state that files are missing... but admittedly I've never thought to try. The wireless download, I'm also unsure of the effect it would have. Personally I download everything via wireless since I play a laptop (from my lap :P) and I've never had issues.
StandAloneComplex Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 @Badgerine Right-click the game in Steam, go to Properties, Local Files, Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
shimazaki Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 The game, is really a hit or miss in some aspects................but graphically speaking.........best version ever....online is solid too, but fails on the ranked matches.........creating roooms and inviting friends works just right, but when those friends are to far, well, the frame delay is greater..........i enjoyed the game so far,and is the best thing i ever bougth in steam for now, no need to look for a PS4 any more. Runs at solid 60 fps on mi Geforce GT 545 (The same as the arcades) and with an phenom 2 X4 at 3.4 ghz..........but have to wait for a patch to test the game in higher resolution cause i dont want to use thos complicated methods like GeDoSaTo right now.

I hope it bodes well for the rest of the franchise maybe coming to Steam. And with any luck, it won't take years and years, like... ... Like really any Arcsys games -- [shot]

The Badgerine Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Aight, got the game downloaded and can run it perfectly in Quality Priority settings in a small resolution, but... There might be a bug with Sol's model. Sometimes when I'm playing and he's around, this big brown texture extends around the stage (e.g. when DI Sol performs Tyrant Rave in the corner of Dragonica Falls, the brown texture just fills up the stage for a second and disappears). It also appears every time in Sol's intro animation and totally covers him. It also happens in Story Mode, again, only when Sol's model is around, and disappears and reappears every time he moves. Anyone else experiencing this?
