So apparently, during Baiken's Instant Kill, a shamisen version of the IK theme plays over the normal IK theme. Nice touch.

Caught the stream archive of the announcement, and Baiken's full theme was playing while Daisuke and Pachi talked about Rev2. Sounds pretty much like a mix of Momentary Life and SUSANOOH.

Just watched all of story mode, and it was the shit, I loved it. It actually made me really like Ariels, and made me wonder why she isn't playable yet.

Frankly speaking; that story trailer hyped me the fuck up, and helped make the wait a little easier for me. I'll gladly wait for the Story DLC.

If it means anything, I managed to fix the bug by switching my preferred driver in the NVidia Control Panel like a few posters here suggested.

Aight, got the game downloaded and can run it perfectly in Quality Priority settings in a small resolution, but... There might be a bug with Sol's model. Sometimes when I'm playing and he's around, this big brown texture extends around the stage (e.g. when DI Sol performs Tyrant Rave in the corner of Dragonica Falls, the brown texture just fills up the stage for a second and disappears). It also appears every time in Sol's intro animation and totally covers him. It also happens in Story Mode, again, only when Sol's model is around, and disappears and reappears every time he moves. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hate to doublepost, but I tried it the third time and it happened again, at 30%. I'm gonna try restarting my computer, then starting the installation. Can anyone else share anything that might help?

Agh, didn't want it to come to that, I remember deleting local files of a game taking forever, but I'll give it a shot. EDIT: Wow, the uninstall was instant. My memory must be playing tricks on me. EDIT 2: It happened again, this time even earlier at 40%.

Ey there. So I bought this on Steam and was downloading it, but it suddenly Queued itself for some reason at about 30%. I clicked Play and got it to keep downloading, but at 80% it happened again, and I got a message saying that there was an error because the download was corrupt. I keep trying to resume the download now but I just keep getting that message. Steam support site has nothing on this phenomena. Any advice please?

Ah, the Brazillian character that isn't Blanka. On Gief: I sadly have to join the fans that would've preferred Alex, but at least Gief looks cool. Except for that super, of course. His V-Trigger reminds me of why I love Tager as a grappler character concept (a grappler who can bring his opponents towards him, rather than have to do it the other way around). oh my god his skin even changes color when he does his super armor v-skill this is too on the nose

I've heard it a bunch from Jonio's stream, and yep, it sounds way heavier than past themes, especially around the chorus. The chorus is also where the Chinese motif gets more obvious, I think.

I mean...I have a general idea what her gameplan might be (knockdown, plant houses, stay at mid-range where your 3HS can hit and be annoying in general), and I wasn't claiming anything to be concrete either. All I said was "the Axl matchup looks bad". Can it change? Absolutely, but as it stands now, and from my understanding of her, I simply made an observation that she might have trouble with him, which is worrying for me since I'm super stoked to play her when REV hits consoles. But if it bothers you that much, I'll drop MU talk for now. After all, I still see where you're coming from. (I recall myself being one of the folks who thought Ramlethal would be bad when we first saw her in SIGN 1.0, look how that turned out) -

Nah, I've seen her get hit out of it. But the projectile comes out regardless., so it seems real useful for forcing the opponent to block and making it your turn, or just for getting some breathing room. On a different note, her matchup vs Axl seems ridiculously difficult. Rensen and Sparrowhawk Stance demolish her houses and keep Jack-O away at the same time. The Faust matchup doesn't look too hot either. -

Huh. Y'know I never thought about them doing that. In regards to that, I'm not sure myself. Perhaps my previous explanation is wrong or missing something that would explain this, and if it is, I'm not sure what.

Aight, lemme just tackle those one by one. As for your grievances of screen time, that's just how the wind blows, I guess. Even in BlazBlue, when it attempts to tell one long, linear story, several characters are pushed to the sidelines, so that's just kinda how it happens unless the game attempts to tell several character specific stories.

Actually, Sourenga's video suggested that that theme is a general Arcade final boss theme, ala Fatal Judge from BBCP. It played because Zato is Slayer's final boss in his Episodes Mode run.

I don't have a screencap of it, but in the new version of Illyria Downtown the hotel workers hold up a sign to the fighters that says, in huge bold letters, "NOT HERE PLEASE".

Listening to Jack-O's theme, I thought it sounded a lot like the Staff Roll themes from older Guilty Gears, mainly the cheery ones like Primal Light.
