Mjskillz Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 I'm down to play some VS! Not in tournament, though...hahaha. Come on, man -- we don't know that game so well just yet over here. As for TF, we can play that at Wall's on Saturday. Springfield will be there. It's a wonderful thing. It allows you to play games on with very little lag. http://ggpo.net/. If you need help setting it up, you can just let me know. Yeah, I tried to DL it and I got nothing. ATM.. I'll try again, later on. But thank you for atleast answering my question.
blueNINE Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Yeah, I tried to DL it and I got nothing. ATM.. I'll try again, later on. But thank you for atleast answering my question. Can get in touch on AIM.

Otakuchin Posted September 12, 2009 Author Posted September 12, 2009 I GOT WORK!!!!! yo gonz ima ee if i can get OCT 3 off for your tournament. THis new job has me slaving away on the weekends so its real gay. Ill let you know man right now its not looking too good though.
Stryfe Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Hmmm I have an idea. Since GG is picking back up in CT and Mass, how does everyone feel about reviving the meetups at Sarges? That seemed to be the hotspot, and maybe it'll motivate Southern CT to get off their butts. Then again... we're missing Shibuya

blueNINE Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I am down to go to Sarge's, if people would really like to do that. I think Springfield or Amherst would be better as a central location, though, especially considering New Hampshire. You coming on the 19th? Hehe. What's Sarges? http://sargescomics.com/ It is very cool. They have some TVs in the basement, and let us play there for free.
Mindgam3 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Personally, I agree with the sentiment that Springfield or Amherst is a better location for New England as a whole. Not only are both areas within relatively acceptable driving distances for most of NE's players, Antonio's pizza is absolutely amazing. Concerning CT alone, Sarges might be good for general CT meet-ups, but anyone from MA would have quite a trip ahead of them. Also, holding them weekly like they were would only be asking for inconsistent attendance, which is what I believe led to its demise in the first place. In general, since the biggest GG scene I can think of in CT (Hartford) is located pretty well near MA, I would stick with it for now. Come to think of it, Digital Mayhem had scheduled "Fight Nights" after ACT X I believe, but I have no idea if they're still hosting them. However, each time I asked if anyone was interested on the forums, all I got were metaphorical internet tumbleweeds. Also, get hype for Saturday! Who's going?!
Stryfe Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I agree with Mass being a better central point, but Sarges is another good place to meetup in case people can't host.
Otakuchin Posted September 14, 2009 Author Posted September 14, 2009 Hartford doesn't show up alot to any thing because none of us have car lol. So once I solve that problem ill let you guys know
Fraga Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 I wish I could make it on Saturday, but I can't, I have to do a good amount of work.
so moe kona Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 As for the 19th, I don't get out of work until 4:30 and I don't have a ride so making it would be a problem for me. D:
OMG_Raoh!!! Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Holy shit do my eyes decieve me or does the 1st page results from last act put mindgame in 3rd for GG singles?!?!?! good shit, sorry i missed it. So anyway for anyone whose been wondering what happined to me. I had to take some time off from GG and actually video games in general to take care of real life.....again. I would have posted somthing or gotten in contact with some of you guys sooner but unfortunately i cant afford internet or phone anymore, and my wife crashed my car and i cant pay for the repair so i have no efficient means of getting around anyway. Frankly Ive had too much on my platter to worry about dustloop. Sorry Stryfe and all you new london guys, Im sure you guys were all WTF for a bit. At any rate I'm semi-back now so if anyone wants to play and can drive, i can throw out some gas money. Leave a post or send a PM. BTW I'm living in unionville now so im a little closer to Southbury and a little closer to New London, about the same distance from Hartford.
Gonzales Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 i would volunteer my apartment for some GG meetups since i have 4 TV's lol. The problem with that is my ligth bill skyrocketing to epic proportions. Im sure if people volunteer a $1 each person then it be np contact me on AIM or just post on this thread. Its makes sense since Springfield is about the middle of MA and is not far from Harfordt at all.
agp24 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Springfield isn't that far away from Hadley, so you could count me in. I'd be fine with paying a buck, especially since it's for playing Guilty Gear.
kaoss Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 If anyone wants to hook me up with a ride, I'm down for Saturday.
agp24 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Wait... I haven't been active for a bit... What's this Saturday?
so moe kona Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Wait... I haven't been active for a bit... What's this Saturday? Casuals at Nine's in Amherst.
agp24 Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Ah. I haven't played in a while, and I'm down one arcade stick, but I'll go if it's free to everyone. xD Edit: Nvm, I'm busy this weekend. -_- I keep missing these things.
Gonzales Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 yo everybody get hype preDM tourney at my house http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?p=453714#post453714
NerdJosh Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Yo Gonzales you should organize some TF zbattle.net meetups. So people can actually learn how to play..
blueNINE Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Find those rides, people! Kona, 4:30 p.m. is hardly too late -- this will probably go until around midnight or so. Maybe you can get a ride from CT? Aren't you on the way from there? People can come as early as noon on Saturday. See you then!
so moe kona Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 If anyone from CT (or anywhere at all) can give me a ride, that'd be awesome. I'm incredibly low on cash right now and I don't get paid until next week. I will, however, pay for the driver's venue fee to either Gonzo's DM tourney or ACT the next time I meet them.
Mindgam3 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Kona: I'm going to be arriving fairly early (12:00-1:00), but I wouldn't mind going out to South Hadley and picking you up when you get out of work. Just PM me with where you'd like to be picked up and we can work from there.
Gonzales Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Yo Gonzales you should organize some TF zbattle.net meetups. So people can actually learn how to play.. i would but doest the new ZSNES not have netplay capabilities, and besides online lags so characters liek Shredder and Armaggon are almost unbeatle with the lag since its difficult to punish them sometimes. I'd rather people just play offline and get the most from the game.
