When The Boogeyman Has Nightmares: A Community Spotlight On Sabamiso (BE)

    When I think about characters in fighters, often connect them to a player that I feel exemplifies their concept. Sabamiso is fucking terrifying. An incarnation of the boogeyman, this Bedman player is going to give some people night terrors when he’s finished. What do I mean by that? Well, take a look at the video I linked. It’s always been a mark of a good antagonist that it feels absolutely hopeless for the heros when they confront them and I think that’s a pretty good desertion of his style. No. Fucking. Hope.

    From the first second of the match, the pressure this man has is unreal. Every moment you’re nothing more than just dancing to his beat. Dodge, duck, dip, dive, or dodge there’s nothing you can do.  Bedman’s general kit fits him well too, playing Bridget in +R, he makes the absolute most of the character’s mobility. Honestly, you’d think the fucking guy was Jigsaw too with his traps. It’s like when he gets started or even mildly setup, you just need to hold on tight and really hope to find a gap. Not like there’s going to be one though. Setups like 310, defense like FAB, offense like Karinchu, this man is an honest dark horse to take EVO. Dark only in the sense that his opponents will have some trouble finding footage to research since the video I linked was honestly one of the most recent ones I could fine and it was from last December. Which only means he’s probably, somehow, gotten even more broken as shit since then. 

    Time will tell though if about how he does, EVO is looking too crowded with gods to even predict where a devil like him is going to fall when the dust settles. However, I already see a mile long list of players who are going to be cursing his name as he bottles their tears. And if you don’t think you’ll run into him in the pools or wherever, just remember. A wolf like him only needs enough luck to find you once.
