Mitsurugi Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Hey, what happened to all the international events threads, MFA in Russia, Showdown in Sweden, SVB in England, Stunfest in France etc. ? Looks like some big pruning. Or maybe American censorship haha, just kidding. EDIT : it does look like pruning as no one really knows what happened ( http://dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7019 ) Anyway, let's look forward. Guilty, Sea, Sex and Sun, what else ? Who would be interested in this gorgeous event ? See you at Cannes 2010, braaaaaaaah(vo da ze)

Ronove Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 question: is BlazBlue going to be a solo tournament or 2v2, 3v3?
Ronove Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 from the tournament's website: There is NO cash prize for the Main Event BlazBlue Tournament. What the hell?

Chronoxir Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I participated in Cannes 2010. I can give more information. The level of the tournament was rather average, there were less than thirty participants. The players having a good level were three first ones. The tournament was " double elimination ". It was authorized to lose once before being eliminated. I won against 4K in semi-final in a mirror of Arakune. It was very ugly to see. Then I lost against V-13 of my friend and sparring partner, Zero No Shana (HimeYuki x on Xbox Live). I then lost this time against 4K, always there mirror of Arakune. I had difficulty in anti air and especially to understand indeed the action because I have never made mirror of Arakune, but 4K is a good player of Arakune also : gg ^^ Then I helped Zero No Shana with whom I play all the time to settle the last details for his final as I play I same Arakune sub. Finale was rather fast, Zero very well played, furthermore he knows perfectly the match up. The match up Arakune / V-13 being very difficult for Ara. I believe that only the video of finale will be alignment, we see there V-13 managing perfectly the match up Arakune.
Xinkai_SAF Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I competed in this & came 6th. Was a fun tournament, i should've done better but was my 1st major tournament & nerves got the better of me, was playing in a Nu VS Arakune match that i really should've won. The competition was not great, players like ZnS, Chronoxir, Chuongster, &4k are all really impressive players, some people there though seemed like they just knew only 1 combo and decided to see how far they got with that 1 combo. Chronoxir can you please ask ZnS if i could add him on XBL for a few games, i could really learn alot from his Nu. Merci Beaucoup.
