Nice to know that he can keep it up without having to restart from the beginning. Only gameplay problem now is the beginning, which has always been our woes. Also, is there a vid of arakune winning against a lambda yet? I want to see any new tactics used against her.

Irrsinn Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Man, CS Arakune is just so fun to watch, in CT he was an unstoppable rape machine, it was cool to watch, yeah, but if he won it wasn't that surprising. Now CS its just more thrilling to watch, and I'd say that the combos are nicer.

I'm just gonna chalk it up to me not understanding how 2 on 2s go.... They got bodied by Tsubaki in the finals, I believe. They did, Inoue tore through ass just as thorough as Souji and Fuma(o???) did. At least we know now not to make our air to ground game obvious as a simple 2c from Tsubaki cuts all that shit out. But man, those matches were serious rape. Inspiring considering the crushing defeats Arakune has inevitably suffered.

I was honestly more impressed and satisfied at Fumo vs that Lambda. 9k is sexy and all, but this was the first time I've seen an Arakune beat a Lambda, and after seeing how depressing that match up looks for Arakune, I'm glad to see Fumo come through.

Is it the combo starter that has decent proration? I remember seeing a curse loop that was just as long (if not longer) that did less damage. Or is that some Hakumen-specific thing that I'm not noticing?

kousaka Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 what happened was the blocked 6a> jC >214B>D bug jC seems to do reverse proration so it's the best starter afaik now.. and he goes into a single loop of 236C>D bug>C bug>jC>214C which reverse prorates a bit more, then he goes into regular j6c>236C>D bug loops followed by supers
