OrionXElite Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 Well in norcal we have an abundance of Tagers...I think there were a total of 5 Tager users at SVGL today. Of course me and Renegade were trying our subs out today. My favorite was when I decided to use Bang against Renegade. He was so thrown off I almost beat him! I'm pretty bad with Bang...I know how to use him but I don't know the basics for shit. I just kinda throw out random attacks and hope for the best. I need to learn my basic crap first for now.

By the way, something that will speed up the process immensely is if you take it upon yourself to learn these bread and butters; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BX9PDzOkn4 That way when I'm teaching you, you already know the physics of the character, I just have to show you the tricks and the flow.

Wow...oh boy this'll be fun. I didn't realize there were so many options with him. Guess I'm so used to Tager and his rather simple combo system. Oh i'll probably need a week or 2 to get these down. Any of those combos work in CT too? I could learn at home to make it a little faster if any of them worked like that. Nothing like a good challenge!

Dacidbro Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 No, none of those work in CT. His combos more than doubled in length from CT, and a couple key aspects of moves changed (I.E., 5B > 623B works)

I don't have a solid sub character and while I do have a unique style with Tager, it would be nice to have a good backup. As for those videos Phaethon put up, I can't believe I did that good against TaoFTW. I usually get stomped on...Must have been having a good day. Oh well I'm gonna try and beat him eventually

Its not like they can lie about it so it would save you possibility of losing at the guessing game... I'll be there on the 13th. I'll try to keep my friends from going since they aren't the kind to stand around a bunch of hardcore gamers for multiple hours without wanting to crack a joke or 2...I'm going to apologize in advance to anyone who may get offended during future tournaments.
