Prince Laharl Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Just wondering, does the PSP version have online play? I really want to play versus, but I'm apparently the only person in my entire city who has a copy. So, to reiterate, can the PSP version use WiFi, or am I going to have to search out the only other person within fifty miles who bought this game?
Abominable K Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 You can tunnel it through a PS3, but it's gonna be a laggy mess.
Sol.Badguy Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Apparently I'm one of the few that knows about x-link? Anyway, you can go to x-link kai and you might find some people on it. You'd need a wifi-max and the x-link download. I don't know the nitty gritty, but basically is a program that hosts a bunch of rooms for each psp ad-hoc game and you can join a room and play with the people in the room from all over the world using your ad-hoc mode. I(along with most ppl) mainly use it for monster hunter freedom series games but you might find someone on it. Edit: www.teamxlink.co.uk/ link there if you feel like checking it out. If not that's fine too.

I have GGXXAC+ on both psp and ps2 by the way...
phantomBlade Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 @ Sol-Badguy : Yo how good a connection you get with x-link??

phantomBlade Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Demul has online play support added so that it makes games like ggac or gg/ playable online. Check http://shoryuken.com/f215/demul-netplay-released-cvs2-ggxx-mvc2-etc-249243/
ElvenShadow Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 wow this seems like a really big deal! Working online GGAC finally! I dont have a very powerful computer for gaming, so I dont know if it will work on mine, but if this catches on I will buy a brand new PC just for this! I strongly urge everyone to try to get this running and play some online GGAC. This seriously could be what you guys need to revive the US scene. Keep in mind that I have confirmed that at this time, Ark System Works is NOT working on an online version of GGAC, so this is a big deal!
phantomBlade Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 It's already like the most awesome thing to happen on the internet!! It needs so much more hype. WHERE THE HYPE AT???? THIS SHIZZZZZ IZ CRAAAAAAAAZYYYYYYY!!! It runs perfect most of the time... no lie..... So now the question is...that the U.S. has a chance to get good at this game, are they going to take the chance???? Or will they forever be horrible at this game and forever lose to a Japanese player non-stop!!!
Klaige Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 There needs to be a seperate thread made for this Demul thing so that the community knows about it and tries to get a player base up and running.
PimpUigi Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 PSN and XBLA are our only hope I guess. we can only pray for a PC release
Arvoyea Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Sign the petition that's up here, then. Only 53 signatures so far. If I remember correctly, there are many more who want it on PSN and XBLA, right? If you haven't already, sign.
