About the only question that's come to my mind recently would be what would happen if you locked Dacidbro and Zidane in a room together with nothing but a PS3, 2 arcade sticks, a copy of BB:CS and a fifth of 151. Considering Zidane plays on a pad, they'd probably just make out.

That or sucking dick on the corner to support his drug addictions.

On topic: I haven't seen much of Valk, but from what I've seen, he seems like a solid character. Top tier? I don't see it yet. I'm not sure if I see A tier yet, but his combos seem to do quite a bit if you get the right starter (which isn't likely). He's looking pretty solid for a one week old character, so he can only improve as time goes on.

My lack of knowledge of peoples proclivities with regard to their being straight edge and padwarrior respectively is showing. On topic: As a Tager player with regards to the few Valks I've run into it didn't feel like his pokes where quite on par with Hakumen which given Valkenhayns other issues (lower life, fewer guard primers) might be the real difference maker.

Similar to her, his defense might not be strong, but he's designed so that his offense makes up for it. He isn't as nimble nor as good in mixup as Tao, but he packs much more of a punch. It does seem he'll be among the easier characters to zone and pressure, though. So, RTSD or die. Imo, he's a mix of the offensive version of Haku and the male counterpart to Tao. If I can say,as a CT TG player" I always felt Hakumen was one of Tagers worst match-ups. I've never felt like it was ever 6/4 in TG's favor. Never. I never felt it was in Haku's favor, if that makes you feel better. To be sure, I'd say that match 5.5 TG favor at best. TG did have some things going for him back then since Haku couldn't poke like he does in CS.

Additionally, his wolf form has a command grab(not sure how good it is..2300 damage, though), seems to be pretty good at throwing out air attacks for overheads due to being able to airdash close to the ground(Only immediately after transformation..?) and wolf 5a is low. Additionally, he can cancel at least some specials(iirc, all) and normals(at least 6C) into transformation on block or even on whiff. Potential there, I suppose.

Pretty sure it'd be impossible to talk matchups. (But I guess some people think otherwise.)

I find people still abuse this move in their block strings but then again, he's new so people haven't gotten into their block strings. But wolf form has a lot of rush down potential based on that shadow valk player, he had solid rush down form what I've seen. But yea everyone is just worried if he'll be another ct hakumen, great damage but zoned with ease.
