HAI GAYZ! I haven't posted in here in forever. How's Hakumen these days? If he now has a command grab, I would say his pressure just got legit. It's probably what he needs most.

Some food with your alcohol, sir? Merry X-mas to everyone. Have a good one. -
But it's no fun if I can't complain about it... Ty, Beret. It makes sense he'd make more use of dash now. Not much else he can do.

I'll bring my console and cables if the screen can be supplied. -
So... First impression is that Slayer is now shit-tier for all the nerfing he's received (or #Reloading depending on how you see it). I've got a lot to catch up on, but what's his mixup and pressure options now? It's hard to make his stuff work because it's so bare-bones now...

I'll be there on Friday, after a hiatus of something like 8 months. Old man Slayer needs some training. -

Darn it, I thought I had enough leftover Yen for a direct purchase. What happened there? Anyway, I'd be willing to get the JP version. Only person I can share with is Reyn, though. EDIT: Nevermind, I think I'll be going with the NA version as that would simply be cheaper because JP codes are hella expensive. By my calculations, gamesharing the JP version is ~$45, compared to ~$30 for NA... I can wait 2 weeks. Anyone here willing to gameshare the NA version? Reyn? -

I'd be down. :3 ------- I'm also temporarily coming out of retirement. The community needs to fear Slayer. -

Did someone just mention Hearthstone? Because that's what I just heard. -

They did the same with BBCT; very close release dates (simultaneous, as I recall). We'll be seeing larger delays in future releases, I think. -
Is this the complete list of changes? Boring if so. Back to playing Hearthstone~

Good luck to Kirby! Interviews are a bitch and in my exp. take a long time to get the hang of all the subtleties. Just be yourself, display confidence, mad skillz and be a people person and you'll do ok. -

[CP] Azrael - Gameplay Discussion v.2 (Discuss Videos/Combos/Questions/etc.)
Sophisticat replied to zeth07's topic in Archive
Haha, thanks for the info! I've got his rekka down and I'm not too bothered by his links. After learning Slayer, I think I'm good on that front. Any good players to learn from? Aside from Dogura, I mean? Alright then, time to practice stuff. -
UMAD was awesome! Thanks to everyone who helped out with the tournament and to everyone who made it out! We hope to see you guys again next year!

How difficult is Guilty Gear's execution?
Sophisticat replied to ChaosxPaladin's topic in Beginner Mode
GG execution is a lot easier than it's been let on. In many ways, I find this kind of execution some of the easiest of any fighter I've played because some characters allows for tons of combo freedom. That said, it's still going to vary from character to character, but for the most part just learning a bnb and simple combos for different situations should be relatively easy if you're at all experienced in fighters. Where execution gets strict is in advanced and character-specific setups. Because of the guard bar, character weights and momentum, combos aren't always static and you may need to improvise in unfamiliar situations. Combo routes can get very complex in these cases if you're inclined to learn them all. As for FRCs, this also varies. Some are easy while others are definitely challenging. Consistent practice will get you doing the easier ones in short order, however. -
I literally haven't noticed a difference. Haku's the same. Then again, I'm still doing day 1 1.0 combos. Lol.

Godspeed. I've been in the same situation for a while too. Might have to get something random/out of my field. ;_; -

It's why I play characters like Hakumen and Slayer. RNG is on my side. #ScumbagNoEffortPlayer
