Joystick setup/button scheme?

I've tried the search feature to get a general feeling about joystick usage in GG/BlazBlue but couldn't find anything. I figured by making this thread I can get an opinion on button layouts for GG and BB respectively. I own a HRAP3 and I can't seem to get comfortable with the stick enough button wise for execution. Any recommendations for button layout or is this a "practice for muscle memory" sort of thing?

Normal layout is K S H P X T What's not working, comfort-wise? The angle of the buttons? You might try a different hand placement.
