Is there something that can help me with FRC ghost tossing other then practice? like some sort of visual aid or something? i can get the timing right from a distance most of the time, but up close i struggle.

You could memorize the portions of the animation that include the FRC, and then time to that. Although, because of netplay, and even offline, it's probably best to commit it to muscle memory.
