Currently though I am enjoying Val and MF the most. i dont know the frame data so i dont know if valentine has any moves that leave her at advantage/even on block, but I really doubt there are any such moves(recovery always seems lareg), so basically you want to focus on using low/throw mixup, use chains like a sort of rekka threat alongside hit confirming obviously, and probably most importantly use assists to let you set up another high/low/throw mixup. i think her fastest way to do an overhead is cancelling her backdash into airdash(dont do it too fast or it wont come out) then whatever air normal. if you hitstun poison them though, their blockstun is massive as well. imo resets are more important for her than normal oki into blockstrings. then there's advance guard..multihits seem to help with those, but advance guard also has weird effects on blockstun to where i've seen interruptions of such moves..not sure what's going on with that. i guess you could just focus on head/feint stuff with miss fortune. her overhead rekka seem ass but it can crossup on standing peacock.

Also how are you suppose to be able to tell when they can tech out. I have seen a lot of combos online that people saying that they are techable, but in the combo it doesn't look like it is techable.
MooseJaw Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Sadly not at the moment. I think training mode options and move lists are on the top priority for the first patch though. Right now blue sparks means they can tech, weird noises and red sparks means IPS has kicked in and they can burst. Also hey! Looks like Bar Fights might have an SG side tournament! Psyched!

I'm available 10am-6pm. If two people wanna drop by that'd be extra cool so we can have a rotation while I work. Once again PM me for a ride tomorrow. Gonna try and leave the house at 10am-11am to pick people up if I need to and get there in time to get a bunch of casuals in before the tourney. If anyone wants to come but doesn't have money for the entrance fee I'll cover it for the first one who pm's me about it.

No real problems that won't be fixed soon, but I was the one with the other car so, had to go pick em up. Sorry to leave early.
