iw2ma Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Im pretty sure most players used PS3 for BB, even back in the day. It was only Bar Fights and a few others that i know of that used XBox for BB. I don't care either way because it's always been xbox but since you keep asking for consoles, i can always provide a PS3 BB system and can tell a few others can/will as well. i just need to know to make sure i pack it up. I can bring multiple pads and an extra stick if need be. I know Chickzama won't like it because she uses 360 pad, but ps3 pad players have been suffering with converters for a long time and now IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE!! *cough*..... anyway ignore that lol

I'm sure I can get someone else to bring a console and thanks to Moose we will already have one full setup. We just need another copy. Was it transient that brought it last time? I may even go buy another xbox this week dunno.

He has VF and SG on it too, so that'd be useful for casuals and such. also, even though ps3 is more popular for bb by a huge margin, the tourney should run it on 360 for the convenience of those who play on 360 pad. you can play ps3 pads on 360, but you cant do the opposite due to the fact that there's no good converters and yes iw2ma i will bring my converters as usual for ps2 sticks/ps3 horis/ps2 and ps3 pads metal and pfhor will probably bring those ps2 etokki converters as well

I use PS3 pad lol and the only converter that worked well with it was the one i borrowed last time. For evo i need to find a PS2>PS3 converter though.... Dat magical ceremony convertor! But yeah, I'm sure there will be no shortage of PS2->PS3 convertors at evo

It seems we're covered this time You should be ready to bring oso's in case something happens and oldboy can't come, since that happens sometimes. also, i signed up online for TBF. not as mightfo this time to avoid confusion with mike vo, hahahah. signed up for bb, sc5, sg, and vf. im underpracticed in all of those but it'll be fun, i'm sure ill fuck some people up with eileen cancels and sg 5 way resets.

What's the issue with SCV and converters? I play every other game on stick, only BB and SCV for pad. Mr.Oso Yknow i've never played Project M, nobody i knows has it.

SoulCalibur requires P1 and P2. This convertor eats a slot, so typically the attached device number becomes (next available +1) So it will read the convertor as P1 the pad as P2 or P2/P3, P3/P4...etc
