So yeah, i have been having some trouble against him i cant seem to anti air his j4b since it messes me up any suggestions?

I have been having some trouble because these bangs likes to run away and get you in the air. What I like to do is just try to get them to attack me in the air then i just 6A. If your having trouble space wise just try to get into a good position but don't use 6A unless you know it will connect because it can leave you open. If they try to use the nails then don't bother, try to get them on another run when they don't use it.

This has worked for me Idk what kind of bangs you are fighting so best of luck to you :)

What i usually do against an agressive spammer nail bang is predict when and how high he is. A ID should give you that edge on them with right timing. Be Cautious though.other wise block and definitly instant block the barrage of 5c. also, i play bangs that love to dash backwards in mid-air. the second you see this occur carnage scissors. obviously the right position needs to be in place but it practically guarantees contact. Yet, i need help in getting out of his combo string. Any suggestions.

I've had some pretty good success ID'ing his overhead on reaction. Doesn't even require an IB if I recall. Do it a couple of times in a match and it's funny how timid their block stings become.

Cut your Blockstrings short and Do not approach him in a predictable manor, always keep him guessing about what you are going to do so that he doesn't stuff it with Burning Heart to a 5k combo.

but 2b is stupid bad on IB unless you react with frame trap

really, just react to the guard point with a DP.. dp beats all of it clean even if you trigger it

This works until they teleport after the guard point and watch your DP whiff.

Blood Kain after guard point works no matter where he goes though.

As long as you make sure the teleport doesn't fuck up your input. (^_^)

I see, also for some bang user who try to 623C when they use there are nails is there anyway to counter it? I.D is one option but it mostly fails i am not entirely sure if i do late but i unno, any suggestions?

if you're close enough might you be able to gatling into a grab provided that move has that gatling ablility?

You can, but you had to have gotten the move (such as 2A) to guard point early during Bang's drive (such as 2D) or he'll hit you before the throw lands. If you were baiting it that way you might as well just do the throw first though.

ID should work any time, you must be doing it either too early or too late. Other ways of avoiding the grab are 5A (CH's him out of it in most situations), jump, and backdash.

Does Ragna have any moves that beat out Bang's air game besides 6A? Fighting against a random Bang that has supreme superiority in high safe priority moves is frustrating. Would just like some help in figuring out how I should go about this fight.

Thanks. Should most of this fight be fought on the ground? Cause it seems almost as soon as you leave it Ragna loses alot of options and the situation seems to lean in Bang's favor, unless he manages to beat out a move with a CH j.C.

Most of the time when I fight with Bangs, I usually chickenwalk to see what they're gonna do. Most of them just jump around, and when they close the distance, I 6A them or TK GH,and for every time they Air Dash towards me, I do 6A so that they'll respect my space. sometimes I'll do a dash 5A as soon as they try to IAD j.b or c. I get a free combo and 50% meter. And yes this fight should be on the ground, You can't really beat Bang in the air unless you use a well timed j.D (for their IAD backwards) or j.A (priority)

Awesome...appreciate it Gamma. Very helpful. I'll try to use those tactics. I know the basics of this game, but its just getting that character exp and how I should go about approaching them that I need to build up. Hopefully you'll be around because I know I'll have some more questions.

214214d when crossed up becomes D divider.. might win into big damage, might not.
