Though I'll admit that I'm not liking the movement(backdash jump etc)I think I will give it a try since it is said to be good.

Edit:when I can purchase it and fix my wii.

also are you using a classic controller furix?maybe a joystick or gamecube controller?or are the controls just fine with the wii remote?

I am using the Classic Controller Pro... But it's so hard to do a lot of things on it. (I Imagine the regular classic is even harder). I would buy an adapter to connect my PS2 stick to the gamecube port... But, I am not even sure if the game takes gamecube controllers.

Is the timing of the combos strict or something?

Do you find your self pressing the buttons ay and xb simultaneously often?

I think by the time I get me that,I'll have a Wii arcade stick too.

Well, the inputs have to be fast, since it's a fast paced game. Also, I have a hard time doing tiger knee motions on the CCPro. This game is definitely better off on stick.

Lol this game is horrid, but somehow amusing and fun to play. I'll just say SoSo (scythe chick) for top tier. Loops are easy...using a stick here.

Is the girl with the tornado good? She seems like she almost always gets free combos off that tornado or at least a plethora of cross-up/mix-up opportunities off it. Also the bananas and spears she has rain down seem pretty decent (especially since the bananas stick around) but eh this is what I've seen in one or two videos so I was curious.
