Here's a lazy reply but IMO, learning how to hitconfirm off of just 5B alone will get you far as well. It's easy to go auto pilot with 5B 5C due to how it works more often than not in general in fighting games but with Izayoi, that's not always the case due to how much range 5B has over 5C and you'll sometimes find yourself whiffing 5C if you continue to autopilot with her should 5B hit at a distance.

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel
Ichipoo replied to ivanchu77's topic in Misc Fighter Central
Well, obviously Sonico is there from the start, and Heart/Homura are DLC, but yeah, did you check your DL list, if you've already entered the codes for the Chars and Swimsuits. Worth a check in your alt acct. If they are there, try re-dl'ing it. my download list only shows the swimsuit costumes. I was under the impression at first that the code would all account for it all (characters and swimsuits) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -

You only got the characters if it was a first print of the LE. I'm pretty sure I got a first print? But in any case, does that mean I was suppose to get two codes then? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -

So I finally got my copy of the limited edition box for the PS3 and when I entered the code and started playing the game, Heart and Homura aren't unlocked. I'm assuming the code was just for the swimsuits and I still have to purchase the dlc characters? I was under the understanding that we were to have Heart, Homura and Sonico from the start. I got pretty excited watching those two Homura videos, can't wait for my copy to ship. -
Somewhat relevant, but remember that we still don't know who Naoto Shirogane's original English voice actress is to this day (at least to my knowledge).

That combo you posted for 623B is the best you can do midscreen even if was a Counter Hit due to how 623B launchers the opponent farther now in 2.0, however if the opponent is backed up in the corner, there are a few routes she can do: Gain Art Normal Hit 623B Corner Combos: [2 Stocks; 2972 damage] 623B~D~6D > 5C > 2C(1) > 3C > 623C [3 Stocks; 3728 damage] 623B~D~6D > 5C > 2C(1) > 6C > 623C > 5C > j.B > j.C > dj.B > dj.C > j.236C~D Gain Art Counter Hit 623B Corner Combos: [0 Stocks; 2260 damage] CH 623B > 214B > 5C > 2C(1) > 3C > 623C [1 Stock; 3124 damage] CH 623B > 214B > 5C > 2C(1) > 6C > 623C > 5C > j.B > j.C > dj.B > dj.C > j.236C~D [2 Stocks; 3628 damage] CH 623B > 214B > 5C > 2C(1) > 3C > 236C~6D > 5B > 5C > sj.B > j.C > dj.B > dj.C > j.236C~D As for Gain Art Midscreen and Corner Combos... Gain Art Midscreen Throw Combos: [0 Stocks; 2908 / 2509 damage] Throw > 214B > (2C)* > 5C > 2C(1) > 3C > 623C *Getting 2C to land at this part is a bit tricky, so feel free to omit it if you're not feeling confident with your execution* [1 Stock; 2643 damage] Throw > 214B > 5C > 2C(1) > 6C > 623C~D (Trying to find a decent 1 stock midscreen throw combo in Gain Art mode was weird, this was the best I can come up for now but it's not worth it if you ask me) [2 Stocks; 3411 damage] Throw > 214B > 5C > 2C(1) > 3C > 236C~6D > (214B) > 5B > 5C > j.B* > j.236C~D *Trying to do j.B > j.C makes the combo drop and trying to do j.C in place of j.B won't work. Gain Art Corner Throw Combos [0 Stocks; 2908 damage] Throw > 236C~A* > 2C > 5C > 2C(1) > 3C > 623C (Almost identical to the 0 stock Gain Art Midscreen Throw Combo) [1 Stock; 3292 damage] Throw > 236C~A* > 2C(1) > 3C > 236C~6D > 2C > 5C > 623C [2 Stocks; 3655 damage] Throw > 236C~A* > 2C(1) > 3C > 236C~6D > 2C > 5C > sj.B > j.C > dj.C > 236C~D *The reason for doing 236C~A is to cancel the remaining animation of Izayoi's grab so you can go straight into 2C(1) and have it land in time. Not sure if these are optimal but this is the best I can come up with for now. Hopefully @not_lunaris can go over this when he comes back from EVO. (Congratulations on winning the BlazBlue side tournament btw!) I don't think this is the appropriate place to discuss this? Izayoi's General Discussion is probably the better thread for this.

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel
Ichipoo replied to ivanchu77's topic in Misc Fighter Central
IMO, when learning a game, it's better to just respect and adopt the community's notation than trying to "fight" against it by trying to convert it to the one you're comfortable with. That being said, I heard even Street Fighter players in Japan use number notation (as opposed to American player's using 'QCF' to notate '236' just to show an example) and I can see why, as numbers can be seen as a "universal language" that everybody can understand despite language barriers. (It's also looks more "cleaner" and straightforward if you ask me) Anyway back on topic, I know the game is still young but do we have rough tier lists/character standings yet? -

Maybe SKD can come up with better ones but here are the ones I do for now. Not sure if they're optimal though and also keep in mind that I didn't think these up with what kind of knockdown they give you in mind as well. [0 stocks; Midscreen & Corner; 1460 damage] j.AA > 5C > 2C > 3C > 623C [1 stock; Midscreen; 1630 damage] j.AA > 5C > 2C > 3C > 623C~D [1 stock; Near Corner; 1885 damage] j.AA > 5C > 2C > 3C > 236C~6D > (214B) > 5C > 623C [2 stocks; Midscreen & Corner; 2149 damage] j.AA > 5C > 2C > 3C > 236C~6D > (214B) > 5C > 6A > 623B~D Of course it goes without saying that if they're, for some reason, standing when hit by the j.As, then omit the 2C and go straight into 3C so you won't drop the combo. That being said, I personally don't spend stocks on short starters that much, I'll try to reset into GA dash j.B/2B/throw if I'm being greedy. And I too would like to know a good combo for FC Astraea.

Justice is right, Aegis has to hit at the highest point that 6C launches them, I was just being bad.
-
So how is it that players are able to connect 5C after ... > 6C > 623C in GA mode? It looks easy on videos but when I try to do it, the link feels almost impossible. I can probably get it like 1/10 times, is it character and/or height specific? EDIT: Did some more thinking and I suppose I can try doing 6C twice. Just remembered that it's doable and it should help out with the height issue, will try out when I get the chance.

I barely used 214C in the first place anyway. She apparently also can't do 2C > 5[C] off of A starters as well. But at the end of the day, this is just a loctest sooo......

Perhaps it would be helpful for you to include what's happening onscreen when you try to Fuzzy Jump? As @Lord Knight has mentioned in his blogpost about a year ago, if your opponent is going for the classic poke/throw setup (which had a much higher success rate before OSs were discovered), then you're supposed to either tech the throw or up back barrier. If you're fast enough, you'll simply up back your opponent's throw attempt with Barrier on, otherwise you'll tech their throw. Basically, you Fuzzy Jump anytime you think your opponent will grab you or you think it's "safe." Of course it's important to know that while incorporating Fuzzy Jump into your defense does improve it, it's important to know that it's not a "get out of jail card" for everything. And @pochp has already shared with us an example of it being used in action. Just pay attention to the following timestamps which is right after Rachel gets knocked down by Ragna. 2:23, 2:37, 2:51, 3:13

Why not just type the 'C' in 236C and 214C in brackets in order to indicate a full charge? A lot less confusing than writing FC but that's just me though.
-
I've been using 1 > 7A+B+C > 1 in order to Fuzzy Jump in BB. Every other "method" posted here seems convoluted haha.

So an idea popped into my head this morning which was to see if I can OS A.B.A's keygrab and bloodpack together since they share the same directional input. The theory behind is that if the opponent gets hit by NM 5H, then A.B.A will go straight into keygrab, if blocked, then A.B.A uses a bloodpack. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get this to work with the various methods I've tried (63214H~P, 63214P~H, 63214H+P) and the outcomes were either A.B.A would strictly use a bloodpack, or keygrab regardless of whether the opponent was blocking or not. If anyone could make this work, that would be great but to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it's not possible in the first place though.

[CPEX] Blazblue: Chronophantasma Extend News and Gameplay Discussion 3.0

I guess ArcSys thinks that we all have better things to do with our time than to mash in Training Mode while waiting for people to enter our room. -
So basically just do stuff into 623C if you're trying to save/don't have any stocks, at least that's what I got from your post. Tbh I was hoping that 236C and GA 3C would have some specific "function" but based on your post, 623C just trumps those other two options in any way when in terms of getting a knockdown. And I'm a bit surprised that you'd say that 236B is better than GA 3C. IIRC, 3C gave you a safejump assuming the opponent doesn't roll or do anything weird which was why I personally used it more. Then again I didn't really mess around with using 236B as an ender so most likely you've seen something I've missed. EDIT: I forgot that 6B was another option to knockdown the opponent as well.
