I played in NCR2 and came within a hair of being part of the US SBO team. Due to miscommunication, they thought their tickets to Japan and stuff were paid for, but when that wasn't the case, they didn't have the funds to make it. ;( I guess they should've asked you but shruuuuuuuuuuug. lol

Although by the time they decided not to go, I wasn't really too upset as my chances of going probably would've only been 25%, mostly because I would have had to reschedule some things, sink money for a ticket, and learn how to play on Japanese sticks. Hah, you were there? I got 4th playing red Ky. The losers quarter finals ended up being Ky vs. Ky, which caused everyone to go away out of boredom.

qwerty Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 it's groovy. nah, but i like it because the game is dynamic and gives you multiple ways to play the same character. sure, there's lots of turtling and downbacking (in america at least), but the footsies and mixups hit you at fuckin lightspeed. ever take a look at cvs2 frame data? sweeps in cvs2 are like 5-7 frame startup, lol.
